Or do you mean the singleplayer part? The thing no one knows why it's in a dedicated MP game, because any of these SP campaigns like MoH, CoD, Battlefield had never SP that was worth the full tirple A price tag. What you will get is probably a polished good-looking, maybe even fun campaign that will be over way too quickly and leaves you just hungry for more. So you click MP and "Hello, have you already heard about us poor suckers scraping this content together for you. Barely managing, but here is a gambling table for you so you don't get stomped be the other players."

Yeah. Great game. But hey it's Star Wars, ain't it? That must be worth something.

Well, I believe they said that some Heroes and Villains will be introduced in the expansions(like how Finn and Phasma will be with the DLC tied with The Last Jedi), so I can see them doing that for characters like Mace and Aayla. For example if the introduce a Geonosis map the hero can be Mace, a Felucia map will have Aayla, etc. 

The DLC is free, so no moving coin here.

Well let's go back to the lootbox discussion (I can hear from here the eye-rolling) I'm just kidding, anyways there was an interview with AJ on Youtube with one of the devs due to the fact they decided to change a little bit the system to be less P2-weenee. It wasn't enlightening to say the least, but at least it shows that they can listen to the playerbase to a degree.

While watching Nioh gameplay stream, the chat was all afire about the supposedly 'changes' for SW BFII and the 40 hours grind for a 'free' hero. I was curious and went to look it up on Reddit. Some interesting articles there, about how EA deal with gamer dis-satisfaction and protests, etc.

"Candid feedback" - I always read "candid" and then understand something about "sugar", but that's not what it means I believe. I'd rather use "honest", pardon meine strange englisches.

It seems that EA is not very connected to its fans (as those of us who have played ME:A already know).  There is a tremendous amount of salt right now on the BF2 star wars reddit regarding the insane paywalls for character unlocks.

On another related note, the BF2 developers seem to have a standard response to BF2 queries:  "We are looking into that"

EA = Exceptional A**holes

This is different. There are more than 300,000 downvotes on the companys response. If any decent fraction of those cancel preorders it's a huge blow. If word of mouth spreads it's even greater. And this is a title ea was banking on harder.

Wow, did not know about the locking of heroes behind what are essentially paywalls that's some major BS. Good thing I had no intention of buying the game anyway, but I seriously can empathize with people who did.

I mean I get that EA is a business, and businesses exist to make money, but really, there has to be a better way to do it than completely screwing over your consumer base and becoming "Worst voted company in America" for another year.
