Wait, taking on? I was pretty sure that was on the brochure when I joined this outfit.

Gamers, like most people, don't understand market forces very well and so ascribe to malice that which can be explained by balance sheets.

That does not mean, however, that their grievances are invalid. When a market moves firmly in a direction that its consumers don't like, they are within their rights to express their dislike. This particular grievance has been stewing for some time.

Gamers don't have much leverage other than to vote with their wallets and encourage others to do the same. Rallying fellow consumers to say, "come on, everyone, let's finally draw the line here" is an entirely reasonable position.

Finished SP campaign and IMO it's banal and derivative. Iden Versio's "Imperial Perspective" character arc is as predictable as you'd think it would be with Disney stories.

Was alright I guess, but I thought they might try some nuance with it. Missed opportunity, but I'm almost solely interested in the MP anyway.

I actually think EA was going to decrease the price to unlock heroes because they probably don't want people who got early access to the game to buy them easily. This PR move was more of a convenience.

Actually, look up Gamer's Little Playground on YouTube. I already watched the entire story.

I hear players receive equal amounts of creds, regardless of prowess at the end of matches. So to mitigate the grind and shitbox paywalls just figure out some afk method to stay in matches and sleep yourself rich. It'll probably get fixed in a couple weeks, so better get your rubberbands and AHK scripts ready.

Watching some gameplay now. Dropped in on a section that looked stupid. Probably get better later.

Streamer talked to chat about the Emperor. I'm not sure if it's in reference to the game. The Emperor could control minds of the Empire; akin to Bastila's power to empower those on her side. Then he said the Emperor is so powerful, he can open black holes.   wtf is he talking about? Opening black holes? That's BS to me.

It's part of the campaign I say. They turned the shitboxes to eleven to make a couple of tweaks to curp the outrage.

My guess is that they put in SP because of the complaints there was none in the first one. From the looks of it, there isn't much investment put into the story and chars. There's not much substance, just a lot of dumping into battlegrounds very quickly and very fast point to point completion in other parts.
