Character Creator in DAD

Why don't we just have a fixed protagonist while we're at it.

If you want to do it to improve animation, the only way really to do it is to have a fixed protag. Alot of the animation problems in MEA people had a problem with in MEA were facial ones, you don't think that having a fixed character would have made it a lot easiar? I don't think Shepherd, Revan or Hawke actually did have better animation than the Inquisitor and they didn't have more romance options per game either. I think it's framing the arguement that way that is really the problem, getting rid of the races does not necessarily relate to improving the animation or romance options. You can argue how you didn't like how the different races were treated in DAI, but you definetly can't argue that you would have got better content or animation if it wasn't there. It's like with the War Table in the same game, getting rid of it, didn't meaning you would have got someof those quests as proper side quests.

It really doesn't make much of a difference to me. Having just a human protagonist wouldn't impact my enjoyment at all.

Use DAI CC as baseline for customization freedom, but with:

1) Can't be said enough, BETTER HAIR compared to DAI. Though I actually like MEA hair, so maybe they figured it out at last.

2) more hair colors

3)Another good thing from MEA CC, asian characters never looked so good before, so that should be translated into a more open system if possible.

4) Ability to have multiple scars/tatoos at the same time, plus body tats.

Mainly good light, ability to look at your character in multiple angles, maybe a cut scene and gameplay modes so it shows what you will look like in all aspects of the game.

I'd like better facial hair, I grow better facial hair and 2 months in and its still patchy.

Not char gen but appearance related, I'd dig it if maybe crits gave you scars that you could fix if you wanted to.

Choose any race and gender.  Have many nice looking hairs and skin tones/ complexions.  Vibrant colors.  Add facial markings like more tattoos and scars.  Also body tattoos would be nice.
