You would not believe it but petition for DLC for MEA is still running!

I still have some hope that ME:A will get some DLC, and even though the Quarian ark is getting a book-version-DLC, no reason it cant be expanded on through playable DLC (in my opinion)

DLC for Andromeda is dead, the studio is gone and the people are reassigned to new projects. I think the market will cool for a year or three until it is announced that Edmonton has been working slowly but surely on a new Mass Effect game for awhile, heck it would be great if they did the same as Bethesda did for Fallout 4 and just make the announcement the game is being launched a few months from the announcement it exists to keep the hype to a minimum.

I am pretty sure EA pulled the plug on DLC because they just didn't see the people playing the game anymore and due to prior BioWare games they know how many people come back for DLC and how the percentages work for people to buy a BioWare DLC six months after launch.

What I am curious is if there is another Mass Effect game will BioWare break their trend and have a season pass so then they will have funding for DLC even if the game doesn't sell well. Which is why I think other mediocre selling games have had DLC and Andromeda didn't and I remember the Assassin's Creed: Unity also did refunds for their season pass because they weren't going to put more money into Unity after its launch either.

Not surprised by this in the least, actually, it's a fun game, I enjoy it when I get the time to play & honestly, you're talking about a game franchise that fans are still harping on about 3's ending, I can see this petition going on for quite some time, even though it is fruitless.

Hopefully we won't have to wait too many years before the next ME adventure though.

Yea hit does I'd have liked DLC but have accepted there isn't going to be any. But I'm not going to let that stop me from keep playing and enjoying the game for what it is though. I've done 6 playthrough' s so far and have at least another 4 planned. Planning to do the first of those as soon as I've finished my current run of ME3 which I'm almost half way through.

I don't think we'll have to wait that long, not with Bio moving to a shiny, new & bigger building soon, not only that, but you stll have a handful of people working on ME:A, ok so it's only MP, but they're still doing it, also, didn't they say they needed to figure out the direction of the game or something like that? Sounds to me that they already have a story in mind & in the earliest stages of development you only need a tiny team right?
Finally, they can always do what they did with DA2's cancelled dlc & fold it into the narrative of the next game, but all we can do is wait & see what the future brings.

Just my thoughts.
