I don't get why this game got fire while trash games like PUBG get high praise

Well, seeing as you hardcore ME fanboys keep blaming everyone else for MEA's failings (blaming Tweeter "hate groups" /YouTubers and just about every other group out there). Because it's freaking sad seeing all the crack-pot theories you fanboys come up with.

Whatever man, go do whatever you what. There is better things to do than argue over some mediocre video game.

Don't really know. I put that stuff into the same area as "keep away with a 5,000 foot long pole."

as far as the witcher goes... fell in love with the first one, even though it was a tad clunky at points, to me the gameplay made it feel unique, and also made it feel like an actual rpg. now, on to the second one... *sigh* just about every change they made to it, i hated. i only suffered through it once to finish the story. and finally the third... most of the changes they made in the second game, they took and ran with them for the witcher 3. though they did make one or two good calls, but... overall disliked the changes more than in the second game. only finished it to see what happens.

as to MEA, i think most of the issues stemmed from the production issues, which caused bug fixing to replace the polishing phase in it's dev cycle... at least according to the articles i've seen. that's why the animations, dialogue, character designs, etc. were all underwhelming to say the least. though, that doesn't mean it deserved the hate it got. and by the time they decided to cut support, it had actually turned into a pretty good game, IMHO.
