Nemesis or Shock Trooper are the options. Nemesis mostly gives biotic boosts and Shock Trooper improves adrenaline boost, barrier and immunity. No omni-tool comes out of it. Ok then, I was thinking about the beginning of the game where each class has an opportunity to use an omni-tool animation. Deathscepter also helped steer me towards where bonus powers have nothing to do with it. I just finished ME1 the other day. While my Vanguard Shep doesn't have an omni-tool for gameplay, Shepard is shown using one on the Master Control Unit. Maybe that's why there was confusion. |

Ashley, Kaidan, and Shepard didn't wear their armor on the ship in ME1. 
I beg to differ in one instance. In the very opening cutscene when Shepard is walking through the ship from ops to Joker's location, he/she wears a slim combat uniform with weapons holstered on their back. It always seem weird that Shepard would walk around on the ship with a weapons loadout, just as the Normandy is preparing to jump through a Mass Relay. Of course, BW wanted to cement Shepard's very first impression as a b/a heroic warrior.

^^^^^That actually reminds me of the glitch I've come across a couple of times where Shepard wears full armor to the party on Bekenstein during Kasumi's LM. (I know they're unrelated, but I was just thinking about Shepard wearing armor where it normally wouldn't be worn.)

At least BW didn't have Shepard wearing a combat outfit in the apartment in ME-3 Citadel: Party. Lol.  |
