***Your Last Solo in One Word***

Hack.

As in a Platinum Wave 6 Hack.

Human Kineticist on Firebase Sandstorm. Equipped the Revenant Siphon X (Barrel and Heavy Mag) and the Sandstorm Siphon X (Barrel and Receiver). Got to Wave 6 with 2 Revive Packs and First Aid Kits (stupidly lost 2 Revive Packs at the end of Wave 5). Usually that’s plenty if the objective is Devices or Retrieval. But, with Hack, it’s game over.

I'd be more motivated if Lone Wolf was still a thing. Or if hacks/uploads didn't count backwards when not active.

We can have our own Lone Wolf banner! But this one has a Platinum Badge for soloing Platinum to go alone with the usual Bronze, Silver, and Gold badges.

Timely...

Was on wave 6. Solo bronze for dailies with human engineer. When beerfish join to help finish wave. Beerfish joined with other pugs on the next match as I casually worked on my charger weapon grind.

Zero/Kett/Bronze
Finished Biotic Daily in one run with Kinetivist.
Almost did Zeto/Gold solo, but people joined on wave 5.

One word: Exhausting

I like soloing, and 7 waves is a lot easier than 11 (ME3). It just takes so long... I like to do Bronze or Silver solos to do the dailies for Biotic, Combat, or Tech powers. Occasionally I end up doing a Gold solo when someone's connection craps out. Last week I found myself alone as a Kroguard on a Gold Outlaw/Sandstorm on Wave 5 after the host DC'd. I was really glad when I drew Pizza delivery, as the Kroguard moves along pretty well. The extraction was a bitch; I stayed at the other end of the map until 15 seconds to go. All the enemies, including 2 Hydras and 2 Berserkers were clustered around the Extraction Zone. I jumped in with 6 seconds to spare, and had to use 2 First Aid packs to survive. Pretty exciting stuff for a game that has gotten panned by the critics.

Gold and Plat solos take a lot of time and patience, as I have learned from watching you! I'm not sure I want to go for 45 minutes or more without a break, but it sure is fun when you succeed!

In the last wave I stayed up on the roof (your favorite place), and got swarmed several times, forcing me to move.   It seemed that during the last minute a big swarm of the enemies spawned right next to the LZ.  I thought it was weird that I had no resistance until I got to the roof top jump point, and saw them all around the LZ with less than 10 secs to go.  I used Charge on one of the redbars to get to the LZ, and found I still had 6 seconds left.  Time for the RPGs and First Aid packs!

I agree that I was a bit sloppy here and there (as in missing a few melees and jumping off the map) and that the Hack could use some work but I'll save the icicle-approach for Platinum. If I divide the Hack in two and - calmly and patiently - draw the enemy away once or twice, tanking the rest shouldn't be a problem with Juggs anymore...

Edit: 1 point in Shockwave, as always. The rest I'd have to look up, since I haven't re-specced him in months...
