Diablo

Yes, Leah's fate is/was brutal. But that is how things go. We can't always have sunshine and rainbows.   They were a bit harsh with old Deckard Cain as well. It's more like a french film or a good old greek tragedy thab your average american sitcom. 

It should be noted as Malthael destroys the black soulstone Leah's sprit may have been set free. Maybe. There is hope at least. 

I only played Diablo II and i liked that game and it's to bad that Diablo 3 went to an online only game because otherwise i would have played D3 as well.

Yes it is D2 is still very playable and i have played some games online and the game that i liked the most was Guildwars 1 and i was pretty good at it *cough cough*.  But i also played some other games online that i didn't like at all and to give you an example i'm not sure anymore which game it was though but it was a shooter. And every time i spawned somewhere in the map someone shot me and that really happened every time i played that game and that's not a lot of fun i can tell you that. Or another example is that when you're not so good ( newby ) they do not pick you to do missions and stuff. And that for me is the main reason that i do not like online gaming anymore maybe they've changed it i don't know.  

Ok. There is no PvP in D3. It's all PvE. I think you don't have to be online on consol either. They do promote group play. 

@patricia There's definitely campaign you can play alone or in coop (4 Acts, 5 with expansion) and no pvp. Whoever said otherwise was poorly informed or trolling. But I have faith, I'll consider the former to be true

There used to be more differences between versions. The most important difference - lack of seasons on consoles - was solved last year. Now the differences are less visible. As correctamundo said, console allows offline mode, but tbh, I don't find online mode in Diablo III problematic. I think I'm simply used to being online in different games as well. Even in DAI you could be logged in (duh, you needed to if you wanted to use Golden Nug).

Yes i think he was! poorly informed but i took what he said for granted so i did not look any further. 

Yes true most people say that the PC is the best platform out there and they're probably right but if i look at HZD on PS 4 Pro then i don't think that the PC version can be that much better. And same here i don't mind being online all the time either i'm mostly online anyway so that will be no problem. 


Yes i thought so that D3 was originally made for the PC and yes i do own a PS 4 but i also have the rest like Xbox one and a pretty good PC so it's just a choice that i have to make then.

P.s. The only little problem that i have is will i like that "kiddy stuff" haha in D3 because i think that's still something that does not belong in a Diablo game.

Is it possible to get Diablo the first to play on Win 7 computer? I don't think I could even get it to run on XP.

Hmm... It's been a while since I have played Diablo 3. It's maybe an idea tho pick up that Necromancer and do a new play-trough. I am not really into Hack&Slash, but it can be very amusing sometimes.

I played Diablo 3 always as a single player game, and that's luckily fully possible. The only thing I really hate is that you cannot reset your character to a new starting state. You always have all the stuff and money if you want to start as another build, so you have to get rid of that if you want to start a "clean" build. I have no idea why something simple as that could not be implemented, but it is what it is.

And yep - It's fully possible to run Diablo 2 under the latest build of Windows 10, so it would really surprise me if you could not run it on Windows 7.

The recent mobile game announcement went poorly....

The first time I heard about Diablo going mobile was from a game journalist who wrote an article lambasting fans as "entitled crybabies" and saying they should "grow up". Mashable is now on my list of sites I no longer frequent.

As for the presentation, it will be simplified because it's on mobile. Kotaku calls it "too simplified" but it's a hack and slash loot grab, so it's never been the deepest system. Venturebeat calls this game a reskin of Netease's other game "Crusaders of Light", and if that's the case you can put forward a pretty convincing argument that this is just a cash grab. What I would be concerned about is that very few companies can nail the addictive loot grab thing like Blizzard does. I'm not familiar with Netease, but I do know many companies have tried, and in fact 2 decades ago Sierra put out a game called Diablo:Hellfire, which was A-grade horrible in every way. Torchlight, Diablo's original developers, never could recapture the magic and they closed and are off doing sim games atm.

So I'm sitting here thinking there's a lot that could go wrong here.

Diablo is not something I'm interested in, but yeah I saw a couple of videos. Holy shit when the guy asked if it was a bad joke this needs to happen more often when it's right to do it. And the way the guys at stage handled it... poorly is putting it nicely. They apparently expected to be praised for such a ridiculous decision, and when shit went south they just didn't know what to do. I wouldn't want to be on their skin at that moment, that's for sure.
