So with Wong appearing in all these movies and shows with the next generation of Avengers, he’s totally going to get the Phil Coulson treatment isn’t he?

EP 4 was a better than the previous one. Even though Wong's cameo was more comedic i thought he was closer in temperament to his Dr. Strange portrayals like during his feud with Blaze, and his misuse of sorcery. My only major gripe is the weak soundtrack selection.

From what i've seen of Wong he could easily carry his own show (Marco Polo) because he's charismatic unlike RoP's Galadriel's actress.

But I’d much prefer your idea of him getting his own series as the star instead of just supporting.

Watched Thor Love & Thunder on D+ last night. Still prefer Ragnarok and Thor 1, but enjoyed it as much the 2nd time around. Two questions; there was a statue of The Watcher from What If? at The Eternity, right? And;
After Gorr makes his wish and his daughter appears behind him, her reflection in the water is the ‘galaxy view’ of the manifestation of The Eternity. Which is strikingly similar to Captain Universe in the Avengers World series from a few years back. Just an Easter egg? A coincidence? Or are they foreshadowing someone who likes pie?

Eternity's appearance in the comics: I don't know if there is a connection between the two, but Captain Universe is also known as "The Guardian of Eternity"

Episode 5 was fine. But I think it is my least favourite so far. It could be suffering because I liked e4 so much, though. When the ‘best’ moment of an episode teases the appearance of a guest star in an upcoming episode…things may have got somewhat off track.
On the topic of Daredevil, though; Charlie Cox has apparently been telling press that the upcoming show starring himself is a new ‘‘season 1’, not ‘season 4’…so maybe the Netflix shows aren’t actually a part of the MCU proper now, like I assumed they were following No Way Home.

I just watched Thor: Love and Thunder.
I mean I guess I watched it, when my eyes weren't rolling out the back of my skull or so bored I was surfing r/politics half the time.
1. Everyone has really aged. Like, more than I have in the same amount of time. It is weird. I am older than all of them, but I look more like myself from 5 years ago than any of them do.
2. Wacky Waititi Hour, went too long.
3. Giving broken Meow-Meow to Jane, in a universe where unbroken Meow-Meow exists thanks to Time Stone shenanigans, is confusing at best. There are not two Hammers, that really fucks up a lot of continuity.
4. The effects were garbage. Like TV. Disney is abusing their prize property, just like they abused Star Wars. Break up Disney into a million companies, it needs to die so that good things can live.
It was, in my opinion, the worst Thor movie, and possibly the worst MCU movie overall. It wasn't funny enough, it wasn't exciting at all, and it looked bad. I am kind of surprised to be honest, how casually awful it was.

It might still be canon to a degree, and Disney's probably starting with S1 again instead of S4 due to it being a soft reboot or to signify that the new season was produced by them.

Maybe, yeah - but that would be some top quality crafting of a rod for their own back. If it is canon to 'some degree', then what is in (from the Netflix show) and what isn't? That could get really messy. I think 'soft reboot' is already achieved by having the same actor play the character, but an otherwise new continuity.

2. Wacky Waititi Hour, went too long There is a subset of Kiwi humour that Waititi drills in to with reckless abandon. Overplaying the joke(s) is the point, but he took it too far. I still liked the film, myself, but it wasn't as good as Ragnarok. 3. Giving broken Meow-Meow to Jane, in a universe where unbroken Meow-Meow exists thanks to Time Stone shenanigans, is confusing at best. There are not two Hammers, that really fucks up a lot of continuity. *adjusts nerd goggles* Well...at the end of Endgame, Cap took the six stones back to the point in the timeline where they were removed, in order to prevent the thing that had already happened with Loki escaping using the Tesseract. On that mission he had Mjolnir with him. Unbroken hammer went to 2013 Asgard so Thor could wield it in the Worst MCU Movie. Broken hammer stayed in Can't Touch This glass. My gripe re: Mjolnir in this movie is that Thor was somehow able to charm it during the relationship flashback where he commanded it to always protect Jane. Odin was still alive at that point. Thor has the lightning. Odin is the All-Father. It was, in my opinion, the worst Thor movie, and possibly the worst MCU movie overall. Both of those are The Dark World, for me - but I get it.

Mind you they do this type of stupidity in Marvel/DC comics all the time and i wouldn't put it past Disney to adopt one of the worst practices in comic book writing.

Haven't seen it yet, but to answer #3: Captain America returned it to the past along with the Infinity Stones (you see him with the hammer as banner sends him through the quantum tunnel: Being the worst MCU movie is going to be a tough challenge. So far The Eternals holds that title for me. Never finished it.

1. I stand corrected, forgot that detail of Cap taking MeowMeow for a time walk. Thank you for solving this falsehood I had concocted. 2. The Eternals was so bad I had blocked it from memory. Icarus... So I stand corrected part two. 3. DragonKingReborn - exactly on taking it too far, everytime. Ragnarok found perfect balance for this to me. Ragnarok's weakest special effects were 10x better than the "best" effects in LaT, to me the visual effects aspect is where the movie failed the most. Almost like Disney isn't paying VFX people very well. Something about that in the news for a while now, and hot-damn you get what you pay for.
