Tom Clancy's The Division 2

Love Division tbh, burnt myself out a wee bit doing GE on p4 but well it been added to xbox gamepass an the xbox my choice console now an for foreseeable future so im going to start new an try get few badges as i doubt i'll be buying anymore games for p4 outside exclusives

Division 2 making all the right noises concerning end game content, clans, 8 man raids etc etc an then a full first year of free dlc/content for all but i will admit the announcement of the first year free dlc got me wee bit concerned over whats there cash shop going to be like then, if same as Division 1 then i have no worries as it was all cosmetic but i wait an see, i like cosmetic mtx tbh an partake often (big barbie that i am) but i think weird an when i heard a year of free dlc my first thought was then were do they expect the revenue to come from, i wait an see an not jump to conclusions though, apart from that it defer one im looking forward to an definitely one BioWare needs to watch an now need to make sure they have the content to keep players playing cause i know the time an effort i will need to put into the Division 2 an for a few playing both wont be a option i think.


Also thing i was bummed at Division 1 was the dlc, although i enjoyed it i wanted more story dlc an never got any, for Division 2 they've stated some of the free dlc is story so thats another plus.

Hope echoes/phone recordings are back, some of that stuff the most emotional i've listened to in a game an i enjoyed collecting the individual stories so to speak

I'm looking forward to D2 also. I played D1 mostly solo and enjoyed the fact I could just roll through the story and just ignore the dark zones. Like simit I hope we see the return of the echoes/phone recording, they helped give depth to what could be a fairly generic story.

I like the ruined NYC aspect. The combat is good and so are the visuals. Gunning down bad guys at Madison Square Garden and the west side highway and other stuff like that is a trip.

What I don't like though is the emphasis on gear. It doesn't matter how good you are at the game. If your gear is low rank, you can't win. So you could empty an entire magazine into the back of some guy whose only protection is a baggy hoodie, and he could just turn around and one shot you.

Not much variety in gear either. You just get the same shit over and over again just with different colors and stats. It gets old fast.

Also, the Dark Zone is a haven for trolls. Gangs of high level players just run around killing and robbing low level players of hard earned gear that they don't even want. It's ridiculous.

I think DZ is mostly fun. Sometimes a hijack, someone goes rogue but mostly we help each other out with extractions. Other times there's a lot of going rogue and trying to survive the manhunt.

I don't know if I got in or not... I guess not, if I haven't been notified yet. I haven't pre-ordered, so I'm probably low on the list, but I did play the first game, so maybe I still have a chance. I'll let you know if I get lucky.

Wow, just started the beta, it's clear that it will be a little rocky. But it feels good. I didn't reach the White house before two disconnects. Still...HYPE!

How is the connection performance so far? I can't wait to play beta with friends but maybe it's better to wait till after Friday morning's server maintenance? Would be a bummer to be forced to replay missions by a delta or bravo disconnection error.
