Servers going down for maintenance, might be fix for that skill bug dazk hopefully Got to WT3, forgot to mention i had swapped out the sniper specialization an been leveling the crossbow one just because it had bonus dmg passives for AR an Shotguns, needless to say i've been getting SMG, LMG an Rifles all night with not a AR in sight, not really bothered the now though as some of the LMG's an SMG's have been pretty good so they served well an if i get to WT4 without one i'll just craft that police M4 or whatever it called an that do to grind. When are they going down? I just did a quick dip in and did a supply drop, god the loot is shit and bought a new gun. Have to head out for a while now. Hey with the matchmaking terminals can you choose the mission you want to do or are you just asking to matchmake with people to do missions? I started to matchmake in the missions TAB but it auto started saying "matchmaking", do I just wait and it will let me choose a mission or does it just group you and then you discuss what you are going to do? Did you watch that video I posted re the Sniper build? It's about mid way through. AR's seem to drop the least and they are my favourite. Can't wait to get to level 30 but think it will be a big grind solo for me. I logged out about err 30 mins ago an it said 30 mins to server maintenance, just use your map to matchmake for a mission m8 like you did in D1, no idea if you can from the terminal as i've no used that but i got impression they was for free roam grouping which im no interested in doing with Randoms, will double check when i go back in though. Never watched the video but im guessing it nigh the same as the rest of them, i don't pvp so no interest in one shotting ppl lol i like the playstyle of AR/Shotgun an with the passives the xbow specialization gets to them then thats my go to the now, plus the xbow can be fun tbh when i actually hit something with it 😂😂

Hopefully you don't end up in a similar situation to what I had over the last few days. I got a new PX4 at lvl 4; awesome I like those and it's better than what I have. I did not see another pistol either from a crate, drop, or in the shop, until I hit lvl 14. Yeah my sidearm always sedms to be lagging behind tbh, personally i like sawn off shotgun 😁

So, got as far as the Theater mission (level 3). There was a matchmaking screen for missions in D1 (not that I ever found anyone who wanted to matchmake, but that's another matter). Is there a trick to matchmaking with randoms in D2? SofaJockey do you play on PC? On TD2 do you use HDR, not sure whether to turn it on or not?

Does Division 2 have a dark zone? If so, would I need to be a playstation plus member to play in that area like in the first game?

Each DZ has a little different look and feel to it, at least the two I've been in so far. On Xbox you need a Gold membership, so on Playstation you would probably need the Plus.

Got to 450 gs, leveled up a couple of control points to lvl 3 an then tried to take them over solo 😁😁 ohh fun times indeed, i was left licking dust so many times i've become used to a gravel tongue but im a persistent bstrd an i managed to get a couple done but not again unless im grouped or the gear gets better, just to long solo for me tbh, right now i'll stick with putting them at lvl 2 Joined a clan also, Apex Rejects 😂😂 no-ones said a word to me 😢😢🤣 i must smell 🤗🤗 And finally made a new character an got her to lvl 8, wee bit of a grind to get specialization points so decided to just do another character to lvl up an try a new specialization as im loath to split the points i get the now to another one

Friends and Foes Spent about 2 hours doing the Commendation "Explorer Distinction": In a single play session rescue 20 civilians, gather 20 resources and take 20 photos of hostiles - all without being downed... The hardest part of course is to protect hostages from being killed, especially when they decide to take things into their own hands and charge with a pistol into the thick of the fight. I tried several times jumping in between a brave civilian and say, a true-sons rusher spraying shotgun rounds, only to eat those pellets myself and died miserably...After a few attempts I figured out a safe way to do it is not drawing aggro for them, but to identify and eliminate the most aggressive enemies ASAP to reduce the chance of a deadly conflict that the hostages may put themselves in. So in following encounters I made sure to open with my grenade launcher blowing up dangerous foes first. It's when shotgunners, hyenas twinkle toes, hammer dude etc. are properly sent off into the sky, that friendly NPCs finally back down and actually start using cover to fight off the remaining hostiles, most of whom also cower behind cover dispatching their little bomb rovers or turrets. Lives are much easier to save when both sides chill out. Along side getting the commendation done, I also ended up with some interesting "Enemies in Action" pictures as a bonus.

So I finished the main mission last night, I've had a great time but I think I'm done. I don't really have a lot of interest in the end game Black Tusk stuff, I just played all these missions, I don't need to do them again but with different bad guys.

So far I am enjoying the game immensely. Made it to level 10 the other night.
I heard that endgame is doing a much harder version of the same missions with Black Pecker invading sometimes. Not looking forward to that...

I just completed the main missions at level 30 and immediately went into world tier 1, which I was not expecting. But I have the specializations now, which is nice and I want to play around with them more than I could in the demo/ beta. The whole world tier and Black Tusk thing looks to put a little bit of a continuation on the story, rather than just "more enemies and harder" like it was in TD1. But we'll see when I get into it a little more.

I am currently at 79 hours in and I will give my two cents, in case some may find it relevant. Firstly, I've never played Division 1. That game didn't have the most enticing release and, while it did improve substantially later in 2017, I was playing Destiny 2 fairly hardcore back then and therefore I didn't give myself the chance of venturing into another similar game. Anyway, early 2019 it is and Destiny 2 is pretty quiet now, and I here I am at The Division 2. One thing that I must say is that this game is both gorgeous to look at and it has lots of room to optimize and run on various hardware configurations (for those who play on PC). With a RXT 2060 and some tweaks, I play it locked at 100 frames, which is a bliss. For anyone looking on how to best optimize Division 2, I highly suggest checking this video by Hardware Unboxed.I played the campaign completely solo, I took it slowly and got to the end at 39 hours. You can virtually play the entire game solo (except for the raid I reckon) and the game does adjust itself to solo players (there are fewer enemies and they are a bit easier to kill), but towards the endgame I would not advice for going solo, at least not for the most part. Some missions are pretty punishing, and dying will often set you back substantially, wasting several minutes each time, which can be frustrating. So yeah, use the matchmake whenever you can. The game offers a pretty well elaborated matchmaking tool, which you can either set for one very specific activity or just random stuff. Also there is a clan-finding tool built in-game, which is an absolute must have for a game like this. As for the loot, there is the combat related stuff (weapons, armor, backpacks, skills and mods) and cosmetic stuff (clothes, hats, shoes, sunglasses, etc). And the game literally throws more loot at you than you can carry and manage. Particularly from Level 20 and onwards, the loot starts to become quite overwhelming. You clear one room and the place is shinning with loot all over the floor. Not crappy loot, by the way, I would say at least 60-70% of the stuff you get might be relevant for you at the level you are at. Every combat item is rolled. Different stats, talents, gear set bonuses, mod slots, types of mods it can take, etc. In the beginning you can afford to wear whichever item has the highest level and do alright, but as you progress, that is not enough. And particularly when you hit the World Tiers (tiers in which you are put at based you on gear score and progress on some specific missions), you really need to Mix/Max and the game kinda forces you to use a solid build, there is no way around it. You can barely scratch the enemies on World Tier 4 and 5 without a proper build. The endgame is pretty much a hardcore RPG-ish Min/Max grind. And coming from Destiny, that surprised me a lot in the Division 2. I would say this game is much more likely to please people who play Diablo than those who play more straight up shooters like Destiny. As for the rest, the combat is great, the different enemy factions despite all being human (since this is not a fantasy game at all) each one of them manage to feel unique and interesting, the voice acting is quite good, the music is thrilling, the sound queues are always there where they need to be, the weapon variety is pretty phenomenal (again, surprisingly so for a non-fantasy game) and the amount of customization possible for your character is exceptional. The story though is definitely not deep, even less so than Destiny I reckon, so those looking for a story, this might not be not your game. The story does a good job at presenting you this world, your role in it, as well as the factions purposes, but do not expect more than that. The level design is fantastic and artistically impressive. History museums, space museums, theaters, parks, squares, banks, the underground, the Capitol Building, you will visit a lot of places, they feel incredibly unique and many times I was like "Wow, the devs put the effort of creating this entire place full of minuscule details just for one single mission?". Overall this is a very good game. It feels like an extremely polished and complete product. It is very likely the best looter-shooter at vanilla state, though I must say, it can feel more of a looter than an actual shooter for those coming from a FPS background.

Started to level my guy now. But, gaaah, failing bounties because of teleporting mobs is annoying. At times the glitches with mobs getting stuck and/or falling through the world can be fun but when it is bounty that slips away... Anyway I will give TD2 some more focus for a while.

Reached level 6. The control points are hard solo, and I've found the matchmaking sub-par. If I call for help no-one comes. If I respond to a call for help, they seem puzzled I've turned up and just walk about aimlessly.

Climbing up and down the ropes, looking for each others, aiming through the floors, some of them glued to the spot with the gun pointed at their feet shouting "i can see you" but not firing because no clear los. I stayed behind cover in the street just watching the show. Until I had my fill and put the Hyenas to sleep with my Lullaby.

No many, that i know of, are going to bother with call to helps Sofa, ppl going to help just to have the player either have no idea that he asked for help, the player standing about an doing nothing or the player wanting boosted to 30, yeah noone much bothers now, though you will get some.
Enjoy the AI while you can correctamundo 😂😂 your having them at there best, im sitting on over 200k armour an 60k hp an im being 1 shotted by a pistol wielding thug, shot through walls, 1 shotted of robots, having mobs walk through fire, all on top of skills like Hive revive no working or my player suddenly an for no reason standing up and not being able to move with death only solving it, then changes to things like chem launcher to suit pc players has made it horrible on console.

Having fun, up to level 12. The biggest issue remains the poor matchmaking as I found it with D1.

I have been playing a bit more regularly the alst couple of Days. So I'm at level 9 as of this lunch. Might just rush to 30 during easter. Not sure I agree with the way the elites work now. The heavies are fine but the rushers can just ignore anything you can possibly throw at them. And it is also built in the AI it seems that they will back off and run back if you don't take them down quickly enough. So I have had several run ins with elites that could in reality just rush straight at me like the baton rushers and finish it with the low health the player has outside of cover. Taking the full 100 rounds of the M60 in the face/chest. Instead they rush halfway and then back, back and forth etc. It's a bit immersion breaking to say the least. I understand the why's but at this Point in the gsame there just isn't a way to build a character to counter it. And judging by todays Twitter outrage from PTS players Massive/Red storm are nerfing the endgame builds to handle elites hard as well.

I've been doing the side missions solo, but the Space Centre mission was tough. A lot of fun actually.

I've been doing the side missions solo, but the Space Centre mission was tough. A lot of fun actually. I like that mission because of a few fun easter eggs in Space Administration Headquarter, such as the secret room of Flat Earth theory(though that room was bugged for some of us) and the hidden E.T. on fourth floor of the lab area.
