This isn’t affected by the development time, though. Although having this game out soon, even if with a PC that you’d dislike, would mean that they could work on a game more suited to your tastes.
Given your opinion on this issue, I can see why the delay in news might be difficult for you.
For me what I’m most interested right now, is how the combat system will work. Luke Barrett’s posts made me quite intrigued and eager to see what they’re working on.
I know. I’m saying the wait would not have been worth it because I would have spent nearly a decade waiting for a game I’d suddenly have no interest in. Yeah if they could just reveal some basic things like the PC (they have to have at least that much ready) that would help since then I’d know whether to keep waiting or drop them.
Got it. Maybe they’ll drop another blog with more info in November/December, or early next year. Unless they want to do a full reveal at E3.

Well technically the Dread Wolf Rises is just marketing at this point. Though I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they go with 'Dragon Age: Rising' at this point.
I like Dread Wolf Rises as the title, so I hope they stick with that. And it is high time they officially announce the game and title!
Tyler Lee @tylerd_lee @biomarkdarrah hey mark, DAI never had a code name did it? Was it always DA3? I can't remember anything fun like 'nugstorm' or 'famous rock person'. (Also welcome downtown, where the boulevard is your theatre/daily entertainment.)
Mark Darrah @biomarkdarrah Yeah I think it was DA3 and the Inquisition without any weird names
Tyler Lee @tylerd_lee The weird came later..mostly during
While the rumours of Hudson-EA clash of last year might not be true/completely true, I think they shown the teaser at the Game Awards to have it out in the public, as well as one of the focal point of the game (maybe to avoid another project cut?) I think possibly waiting for the full announcement of the next gen platforms might also be a valid reason, if DA4 will indeed be released only on them.
It’d be nice to get something, even another blog post officially announcing the game and the title, for Dragon Age Day, but I think it might too early. Same for the Game Awards, unless they’ll show a cinematic trailer.
Obligatory (but meant kindly!) reminder that Dragon Age Day is created by fans, for fans and is not officially affiliated with BioWare. So the chances that BioWare will release any news about #DreadWolfRises for Dragon Age Day are very likely nil.
The Dragon Age voice actors and actresses who donated charity auction items for last year's DA Day did so only because one of the DA Day fan volunteers individually contacted each of them via their agents. Likewise, David Gaider kindly donated some signed copies of his Dragon Age books because he also wanted to help support Child's Play (and contribute to DA Day in what way he could), which was DA Day's charity of choice for last year's celebration.

"Nugstorm"
Damn... that's good. They gotta find *some* way to work the word Nugstorm into the game. That's just too cool to pass up.
Mark Darrah @biomarkdarrah That was the code name for DA2

- Gained another 64 pgs too... now: 432 pgs.
Always good to see more pages added especially given the price.... still gonna get it (probably) but that makes me feel better.
I also read 'Hunger' as 'Hrungr' the first time *facepalm*

Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes I’m not sure if “thicc” or “o lawd he comin” is more recent, but the main point is that I am old and out of touch and the book is gonna be big.

Still, it is nice to dream.
Oh, I know it’s a fanmade event. It’d just be nice if they decided that day to drop informations on the next game.

Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes I did not realize the story titles would be available early enough to have you all spending six months agonizing over them.
For Dragon Age writers, this is the equivalent of finding a random $20 bill in your coat pocket.
