Baby griffon story?! They have 4 talons on each foot. Could be a reference to seeing two paws sticking out of the egg. Or maybe there are 8 hatchlings. (Cubs?) I have a feeling there will be a double meaning and some kind of merc company involved, mainly cus "talons" is a good name for a merc company. Maybe they'll all be dwarves, hence the "little". lol

I didn't know Epler also wrote. Looking forward to that.

And I'm not even acknowledging that last one cus I still have to survive my hype till March...

So! What are the chances that short story "Three Trees to Midnight" is a reference to Vir Tanadahl, the Dalish Way of the Three Trees? Dalish are gonna feature somewhere in the book per the blurb. "Murder by Death Mages" seems like an obvious reference to the Mortalitasi, who we also know are gonna feature and are popularly known in-universe as Death Mages. I'll eat my hat if "An Old Crow's Old Tricks" doesn't center on Zevran; he seems the obvious choice, the blurb says we will encounter some old faces in the book, and people have been crying out for some new Zevran content in order to bring his appearances post-DAO more on-level with the other 3 DAO LIs. As for "The Horror of Hormak", Hormak was one of the 4 major kingdoms of the dwarven empire, before it fell to darkspawn. "Paragon Egon Wintersbreath led the defenses of the kingdom of Hormak but that was not enough and within a decade the kingdoms of both Hormak and Gundaar had fallen". The capital city of the kingdom bore the same name. I'd guess that we're looking at a story set during Hormak's fall (which would be a metaphorical horror) or something more literal which beset or originated in the place, like an Arcane Horror. cmon guys spin up those speculation spools 😁

I did not realize the story titles would be available early enough to have you all spending six months agonizing over them.
