I'm a tiresome piece of vashedan but I like elves being fae and weird and hot like Prince Nuada i would wipe out humanity by his side if he would love me lmao “Fae and weird and hot” sounds like everyone in the Heartwood Court. The Horned Knight has made his hall in one of the Shame's abandoned holdings; a round tower, jagged as a chipped tooth, its floors all collapsed in on one another. A great tree grows within it, spreading a canopy of burgundy leaves where the roof once was.Inside, the grass sparkles with shards from the old heliograph mirror that once stood atop the tower. Blankets of moss have been laid over the fallen masonry that serves as the tables where the Heartwood Court holds its feast. Silent men and women serve ivy-haired dryads and stag-headed fauns. The servants move dreamily. Their eyes are grown over with moss, and flowers bloom from their skin.Actually come to think of it, pretty much everything that happens in the Serault forest is fae and weird and hot. I hope we go there. On that note, I wonder if they'll ever do anything with the lore from The Last Court. I really enjoyed it, personally.

Who is Masked Andraste, actually? (I secretly think it’s Andruil) What’s the story behind the cult of the Forgotten Ones? What’s the deal with the tea guy? Why is the well-read pig farmer well-read? Can I bang any of the forest folk? Will doing so imprison me in the Heartwood Court for all eternity?

Then it was probably written by the folks at Failbetter. That explains a lot

Well, then I'd argue that they should be making sure that these third parties they commission aren't just chucking shit in willy-nilly. It doesn't lend itself to a cohesive world and lore. DA Legends, anyone?

Serault did make an appearance on the War Table (2 missions, I think?) if you completed The Last Court at least once. My second PT stalled and I never went back to it.

Why this natural and sexual selectivity from women ( and I don't blame them, that's preferences ) would be considered as toxic masculinity ? Why not toxic feminity for example ? The reason this discussion, which lost its relevance to the thread topic some time ago, might I mention, is still going, is because people don't understand the phrase "toxic masculinity." It doesn't mean that only men engage in it, but it's a shorthand for "toxic ideas of what it means to be masculine/a man." Women don't have a magical mental barrier to block those ideas out. If someone, male or female, is told from early on that a real man is competitive, tall, muscular, aggressive, carrier-oriented, dominant, straight, and so on, then they're going to believe it. Both men and women describe short, thin, brawn, quiet, or nerdy men as unmasculine, because of restrictive ideas, what masculinity is about, i.e. toxic masculinity. I'm a guy and I like bigger guys for pretty much the same reasons. But not all gay men feel the same. Not all women do. So consider that maybe the need to feel protected by a bigger partner is a personality thing and not a natural urge women have. Sorry to derail a bit, I needed to respond to that. Because I feel like you are trying to deny a little the biological aspect though and that is not good. Not good at all. You are just denying an important thing happening. Humans are animals, with instinct and pulsions. Not everything is about social construct. And this my problem with gender studies made by people I wouldn't trust, they act like everything is social construct, and it is not. It's not true at all. Any guy with a lot of experience in love relationship in real life ( and I do ) cannot agree with that. How many times I have seen women , some among my friends, reacting in irrational ways, pretenting that they hate badboys, that keep spouting that, keep telling and with honesty they like men who are nice and shy,, and yet falling for badboy precisely because they had these masculine trait they couldn't resist, seduced, while the guys absolutely nice to them, that were everything they dreamed of for a guy were friendzoned simply because they lacked these masculine traits. That's biological and beyond logical reasons. That's animal. That was beyond them. They wouldn't have reacted with their attraction, they would have chosen reason, they would have chosen these nice guys ready to anything for them. Women that think thare small guys look less masculine when they compare men with their eyes on the streets, is not necessarily because they were been taught small guys were less masculine; That' might be simply because they feel that way when they see for themself the difference of size, that's how their pulsions and their body react. That's pretty much the case of my sister, who has absolutely never had any prejudice against small guys. She finds them cute. ( now she has two tall brothers and a tall father, so It might have played a role ) It's just that she is terribly attracted toward tall guys and doesn't find any appeal toward small guys, and she isn't the only one. I asked her several times why she felt that way, " she said I don't know, it's like that. " It's instinctive and biological, as much as men are very attracted toward feminine women, no matter how much you try to teach them how women must be. Try to learn them as children that women with masculine traits, without any form, are the the most beautiful women in the world, and they might believe it themself as children. But just wait for them to grow up, just wait their pulsions as adult. Now put very feminine women at the side of masculine women, and you'll see if what they have been taught as children will make them turn toward masculine women. i'd bet my hand in a fire, in spite of what they would have learnt as children, they would still be more attracted toward feminine women, in contradiction with what the society told them. Put a woman with long hair, wide hips, boobs and a feminine face, and you'll pretty much have a lot of men more attracted toward her than any other woman without these features. And that is not because men would have been taught what a woman has to be when they were children ( it might play a part, we can agree on that but not only ), that is in part biological too. Now obviously, I'm not stupid, I know that everyone has his individual attractions, I know that not every single human thinks the same. My post might have lacked nuance, but I lacked time, and given everything I have witnessed in my life, I don't feel too bad.

I needed to search what tall drink of water means in urban dictionary tho You'll want something like this instead. These were culled from published sources. Idioms are fun though, since they can be so culture specific. I'm sure you have ones in Spanish that would make no sense when translated into English XD. idioms.thefreedictionary.com/Urban Dictionary isn't reliable as anyone can submit whatever they want.

Not bad, though the ears are a bit long, and my goodness why aren't any of these people wearing clothes But ears are the best part of Warcraft elves! So glorious! So elfy! Also very expressive, at least in the case of blood elves. (I hate it when elf ears are really just slightly pointy human ears) Second part is, Warcraft seems to be fond of the shirtless look >_< I'm a tiresome piece of vashedan but I like elves being fae and weird and hot like Prince Nuada i would wipe out humanity by his side if he would love me lmao I refuse to accept that flat eared thing as an elf Nice makeup though. Nooot quite sure why you consider him weird though, except maybe eyes and very pale skin. Put on sunglasses and he could pass for a human.

I am a guy ... playing a Lady ... romacing a dude...not on the poll though...
Human dude preferrably. And I hope Bioware delivers on this front. And I would like this guy to be "bland and boring", morally upright, conventionally attractive.
The thing is - I see my Lady Hero as the center of things in the story. She is after all! And for me, it doesn't really fit "narratively" that such a burdened char would only get along romantically with Emo-Elves (Fenris), Douchebag-Extremists (Anders), tiny funny assassin-elves (Zevran), huge alien communistic hedonistic bull people bordering beastiality (Iron Bull), or girls. Which is fine, actually. Lelianna was a nice alternative to Alistair. And Merrill, was...well, the only option kinda left I guess. Sera...was sadly a bit too obnoxious...
Anyway - My Bioware heroines always went with the human male option if he was somewhat decent. Kaidan in ME, Alistair, And Cullen. Hawke had to become a lesbian. My Bhaalspawn listened to Anomen briefly and stayed a single goddess ...
So a romantic option for females like Cullen, Alistair, Kaidan. Not emo, not stricken by tragedy to the point he only lives for that. Some problems, for character and all, sure. But a romantic option that turns to be the "rock" to lean on for my Lady Hero. Who would storm the gates of hell (or the fade) to get to her. Who would rather die than betray her. Who loves her, and yes, says so. Who is intelligent, mildly funny, can be stoic and reliable, but pelase no Anomen/Anders douchebags...
Or just have another sexy lesbian option at least ...

Get rid of the gender preference traits for romancing and keep partner options equal. ex: 4 girls, 4 guys. All bi options mean fewer options overall -- we're not going to get 8 bi people. We would still have 4, just as in DA2, because that is still 2/2 for the straight and gay people. In the DAI romance reveal thread, Allan Schumacher said:
I only see two likely scenarios: 4 all-bi options, or 2/2/2, as DAI was originally before Cullen and Solas were added. Hopefully the straight women won't get extra options again. (I'm a straight woman and still think it's annoying.) My ideal for DA4 would be 2/2/2 + Maevaris.

Well if our options are 4 great LI versus 8 half-hearted ones that limit people's options, then I'll go with 4 bi. Also, why is Mae not part of the 2/2/2? She's either a straight or bi woman, so she's one of the 2's.

Because no matter how hard you would like to think otherwise, it would not go well for Bioware to make one of the only female romances trans. And I'm not sold with 4 bisexual romances. No. I want gay dudes in my game, and they are not going to add them without romances.
