He's not the Absolute, read the blog for a wee bit of spoilers there or play the early access to understand who he is. Nothing in the trailer goes beyond the full Act 1.
I don't remember coming across the name Ketheric in the EA though. The Absolute was brought up many times.
Good to know he's a general of the Absolute. Probably one of the three shown in the visions.
He's mentioned a few times. Halsin should still mention him if you side with the Grove in the post-Celebration scene (it's been a while I played that far). He's mentioned in a few books/journal in-game and I believe his name comes up in the Grymforge area too.

The celebration event glitched out for me because Halsin didn't turn up in the last PT (intro of barbarian class) last year. (he did show in the first PT but that was many months ago last year, previous year? and I don't remember what's said). I didn't go to the Grymforge as I chose not to explore everything in the EA. When the full game launch, then I'll poke into every nook and cranny. 😄

So the Xbox version is 'up in the air' for technical reasons? I think I'll wait until August to see what happens.

Yes, they have tech issues. Larian highlighted making the "split-screen co-op" work as the main problem. Since they aren't sure if it's going to be ready for August, they decided to not announce anything yet about it.

Ewwwww, Co-op? You can play the game perfectly fine without it, right?

100% solo playable, but it support multiplayer/co-op (up to 4 players).
I totally missed this part of the latest blog: Do you already own Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC? Are you planning to purchase it in Early Access before launch? You’re going to get a free upgrade to the Digital Deluxe edition on launch day!
I feel like it's a big thing to basically hide it in the blog toward the end.

If I remember correctly, it was announced in the official forums, but yeah, it could have made more public.
I'm looking forward to more bard songs.

So if I still buy it now, I will get the Deluxe edition at launch?
I guess the question is - will there be more editions at launch? And is the Deluxe edition worth it?
I am honestly very tempted now with my new hardware. Does the Early Access version have all techie things like DLSS and RTX options?
Edit: Guess I'll buy it now for the free upgrade. Would have bought it anyway on launch. Sounds like a deal.

Yes, if you buy the early access PC version now you get the Deluxe Edition at launch. I don't think there will be any other editions. It has DLSS/FSR. No ray tracing, it might be there at launch, but since it's a top down/isometric game I'm not sure there is any benefit in adding it.
This is what the Deluxe edition adds:
In-game additions: Divinity Bard Song Pack: to use with the in-game instrument, requires Performance skill to not suck Paintings from Rivellon: probably only worth for trading, but then you can "decorate" your camp so if they are pretty... Adventurer's Pouch: starter pack of potions/camp supplies Mask of the Shapeshifter/Cape of the Red Prince/Lute of the Merryweather Bard/Needle of the Outlaw Rogue/Bicorne of the Sea Beast: magical gear inspired by DOS2 origin characters An in-game dice skin: for the dices during skill checks
Other additions: 72-hours early access to act one of Baldur’s Gate 3 Digital OST by composer Borislav Slavov Digital Artbook of the game Digital Character Sheets of the BG3 origins characters
Definitely buying it for the dice skin. We don't want the same dice as the regular peasants, do we now?
And what do you mean with "no benefit from RTX"? How else would I use my shiny new card? And we need to mock the RTX implementation! That's like half the fun!

There isn't much in term of reflective surfaces and most light/shadows don't need to be dynamically created.

Preorder canceled!!!
But my CPU is probably immensely grateful.
Edit: Bought it. Now I have to resist launching it up.
edit: On another subject, looks the D&D movie Honor Among Thieves is getting well received.
Hopefully it will make it to a streaming service soon, I avoid crowded indoor places as much as possible in these pandemic times, so there's no way I'm going to a theatre.

Honestly monstrosity wild shape forms like werewolf and owl bear would make more sense as a high level Moon druid subclass power then their current elemental wild shape power. (And also allow room for an actual master of the elements themed druid subclass)
