Mass Effect Legendary Edition (General Discussion)

So I just found a video of ME 2 Legendary Edition that was played and then uploaded in 4K.....And I can't get out ever CLEAR and sharp everything is! I mean the OGs look good, real good in 4K....But I can definitely see a difference in image/texture sharpness and clarity. As many of you know I am writing a story about Jack, researching and exploring the meaning of her tattoos.....and I have been poring over pictures, rendered models, movies...everything I can find to discern what the tattoos are (as many of them as I can at least) and then learn about each tattoos meaning and history. I have had some success in this area, thanks to things like the ART of MASS EFFECT, but largely the pictures and gameplay movies and just general resolution of the game engine is not as high quality as I would like or need to be as successful at this task as I would like to be.

This new 4K Legenedary Edition totally changes that! The newer, sharper, cleaner textures and models provide SO MUCH MORE details! For example, in the ME 3 Characters and Romance thread, "Into The Bad Girls" that is dedicated to Jack....I'm sure you all know that I haev posted at length about trying to find out what her tattoos mean, and one in particular that in the OG version. It is clearly obvious that a set of numbers is tattooed on the inside of her right bewb, but the numbers can only be solidly guessed at based on general shape. Nothing is clearly definitive to say "this is it". That changes with the LE version. I can now say with absolute certainty that that set of numbers on her chest is...... 6606! (now only if we could deduce its meaning...Maybe I'll have to make up my own head-canon....)


I tell you, this 4K LE is amazing for detail! I don't much care for the change in Jack's character model (they have put blond/gold streaks in her hair which gives her hair a dirty blond appearance in some lighting of some scenes when it clearly should be a medium brown) but over all I'm impressed with just how much more detail and texture can be seen in all of the models and environments.

Plus the first time you meet Jack she solos three Ymir mechs with nothing but her biotics.  AND her personal mission tells us how Cerberus experimented on her to become a human superbiotic.  The choice on Biotic Bubble Babe was pretty obvious for me

Simply to excuse the fact you intended to personally insult people who did a thing wrong in a video game via comparing their intelligence to that of a child.
