This could be in the Andromeda timeline (600 years after the war) so they can tie the two together. If t'soni is looking for more of Shepard's dna, then why nottake the samples she had at her apartment. She did have Shepard's dna in a cou0pe of spots, and possibly get samples off the armor. Who knows what could have happened over 600 years...?

She could be on habitat 7 and that could be some of Daddy Ryder's armour 😉 Unlikely but N7 doesn't mean Shep. She *was* one of Alec Ryder's contacts back before he left the Milky Way. The recordings of her in his quarters indicated as much, if I remember correctly. I don't recall Habitat 7 having two moons, though? Then again, all I really remember is lightning, floating rocks, and funny plants.

Thought Liara on the ice planet was her finding Shepard's body pre-lazarus, but then I noticed the dead reaper in the background so... yeah. Pretty sure Shepard's body wouldn't have ended up on a planet with two moons in the destroy ending, so... I got nothing. How about this... Liara and co. return to Alchera post-Reaper War to find more of Shepard's DNA so they can recreate him/her again. It might be far enough into the future (eg. Andromeda's timeline) that Shepard would be dead regardless of the ending. If this is well after ME3, to the point the crew is dead except for the demi-immortals, and Liara is cloning me, I might have to kill her. lol
Unless she clones Garrus, too. And gives us both copies of our memories.
Then I just won't talk to her for a while cus lemme stay dead, dammit.

I'm now hoping against hope that the claim the legendary edition of the OT isn't changing anything story-wise is a lie to misdirect. Tis a foolish hope, but its there none the less. Fingers crossed for them including a "Sehpard lives, reapers die" option. Or at least expanding on the breath scene.

It's definitely the milky way, it's not Ryder armor, and Liara is clearly not looking for Shepard...so I have to wonder wtf the point of the N7 armor is, aside from the logo being the franchise moneymaker.

Feels like they're going to canonize events of the Shepard Trilogy to have a new game in the Milky Way. If so, Bioware:  I don't like the implication of Andromeda being abandoned. As well BioWare's firm stance of "NO CANON ENDING" to be walked over does not help with trust issues I have with the company. The only thing I can say in relation is, Naughty Dog lied about not playing as Ellie in the original Last of Us. swore to the press that you don't play as her to misdirect. I cannot imagine EA allowing Bioware to make such massive changes to an 8 year old game, even if Bioware was willing.

This could be a story that starts in the Milky Way and takes a hard turn at one point with someone boarding a new ark or something. Basically we know nothing, but I’m still inclined to think Liara finding N7 wreckage on an icy planet may indicate this takes place in the ME2 prologue gap. Not with the Reaper in the background, and the other hints of this being post-ME3. Unless... time travel.  The Reaper is symbolic?  Something, something Sovereign. I’m curious about where this is going and when. I still sort of hope they leave the post ME3 galaxy alone, but biting the bullet and canonizing an ending could be an interesting route as well. They could just go the Deus Ex route and say all the endings happened to some degree. Some Reapers in the immediate area were destroyed, some people were infected and changed by nanomachines, and some Reapers broke off their attack to pursue an unknown agenda under Shepard’s orders or something. |

And I guess my mind just filled in the gaps there and assumed that the helmet was brought to Cerberus along with our body. Cus why remove it on Alchera?
But yeah I do recall the gift from Liara being dog tags, now that you mention it.
