The 600 years in the future is a conjecture, though, even if it seems a good possibility. But in this case, the ones that want an Andromeda sequel could be somehow ‘safe’ since I doubt they’d go 600 years in the future and focus completely on the MW.

In any case, I’m sorry, as I said before for others that wanted different things, plot wise, for the new games. My major concern is the kind to games they’re going to make, and it *seems* they won’t go straight away for the Anthem formula...so far. So I’ll just wait and see what they’re going to offer. I feel bad for those that wanted something differently.

Just seen the teaser, looks good, a lot of questions come to mind, the main one being how long will we have to wait?

Three year minimum, and that’s if DA4 is released in 2022 as planned. Which I wouldn’t bet on it with the pandemic. Which based on the abysmal TGA of this year (even by normal standards), is something that it’s clearly affecting the whole industry.

My interest in ME isn't to high really because I just don't believe bioware is capable anymore, that said in regards to what I want in a new game: I just know I don't want to see the previous characters and protagonist from Andromeda because they were that bad to me, I'm perfectly ok with another Andromeda if they time skip to where the colonies have grown. I also won't mind another milky way game as it still has a lot of potential just as any other Galaxy would.

What I will say since people are talking on it: if they do canonize an ending I believe it has to be destroy. I also know at this point no matter what they do, not everyone's going to be happy but I mean, you can't please everyone to begin with🤷. I believe bioware should just choose what they want to do and hopefully it's something they feel confident in that they're capable of doing it. The ME3 crap is history at this point, people are already unhappy about it so screw it if they canonize an ending, the perception of choice wasn't there to begin with so meh.

I believe at this point bioware just needs to regain an audience because they've lost so much already, most people have already moved on from them because of their last 10 year history and they're just going to keep struggling with what they have trying to please a mixed fanbase that has tried sticking around. It's pretty clear just reading this thread alone that there will be people that won't be happy with whatever bioware ends up doing.

There’s a possibility here that Gamble’s post means this really is an Andromeda sequel. It’s possible that Liara either decades or centuries after ME3 has organized a new ark.

It could be anything, because he also liked a tweet about continuing from ME3. He’s intentionally keeping all options open.

Liara might look older because this is a 4k close up of a CGI trailer so you get to see more of her facial imperfections. The whole thing just looks like it happens right after the events of ME3 - otherwise why would they show the freshly destroyed relays, the people struggling at comms, and the completely destroyed Citadel? You'd figure after some time people would start to rebuild.

Liara picking up the N7 logo. It's Shepard's, not Ryder. Senior Ryder died on Habitant 7, and last time I checked there were no Reapers in the Andromeda galaxy, let alone on that planet. And if it's Ryder Jr's, what the hell are they doing in the milky way? So yeah, that's Shepard.

I REALLY struggle to believe this is set in the far future.

BiOWare please - don't bring Shep back. His/her story is finished.
Just connect Milky Way route 700 years after Reapers with Liara as a Matron in charge (and Grunt as a her bodyguard) with the threat that Ryder's found in Andromeda. That will do.
