Just antialiasing and general bug and stability fixes.
I hope they don't "fix" models, dialogue, or anything really because I will probably like the original better. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Can't have that, the conservatives progressives might cry.
Hehe.
Yeah, you're right. 10 years ago it conservatives complained about nude pixels.
Today it's the progressives 'cuz ... I can't even write down their ideas due insane troll logic issues ...
All the more reason why real world politics should stay out of games.
I'm gonna say fix endings. I'd like to say "scrap entirely", but if it did fix the endings, then sure.
The whole narrative of 3 really needs to be scrapped. They pretty much got the Genophage arc right (inexplicable Cerberus presence aside), and the MP was fun due to improved gameplay.
Everything else was bad. It wasn't just the endings. Cerberus as the Sith Empire makes no sense. Rannoch arc is really, really stupid (particularly how the geth are retconned). The Reapers' decisions make no sense as they should've won before they even started attacking Earth (via assaulting the Citadel first and turning the relays off).
But yeah, the endings are the dumbest part of a very dumb thing and fixing them turns the game from completely awful to ok, albiet getting by solely on feels and action schlock

I'd still like to know how the F did Cerberus pull out a fleet of ships AND have enough weapons, armour and mechs to arm an entire freaking army! Seeing as TIM spent what accounts to fund a small army to bring back Shep.

Not only that, but Timmy was getting really out of hand with the reaper madness.
”I’d like to start installing reaper-based implants in my head.”
”Wha...wait why?”
”I’d also like to start fitting the civilians at our secret facility with these implants so we can repurpose them as shock troops.”
”The fuck....what good...”
”OH, by the way, no anesthetic.”
”Oh for fuck’s sake.”
This dude’s going balls deep into techno-voodoo and everyone’s just like OOKAY!

While I agree the endings might be the dumbest part, the part that bothers me even more is the lead up to a character's death.
Look at the genophage. If Mordin finds the temperature malfunction why can't he fix it from that console instead of going up the elevator? Look at the Citadel coup. There was no reason for Thane and Kirrahe to be killed. I would have Leng kill the councilor right away instead of talk to hand crap. Look at Grissom academy. Without Jack, Prangley is killed. Why? Was it that hard to have the squadmates provide cover fire while Shepard helps Prangley? Miranda, Zaeed, Grunt and Zaeed all die if the loyalty missions are not completed. Apparently that crap was more important over 6 months later.
Udina didn't need to die. Why not shoot him in the shoulder so he could be questioned? Look at the broker dlc. Shepard is able to shoot Vasir while only injuring the hostage. Killing A/K during the coup. I understand the standoff at the beginning, but then A/K should have realized Shepard is not working with Cerberus regardless of what Udina says. At that point, Shepard has been making alliances to deal with the reapers. Cerberus doesn't want that. The other is they should realize they were outgunned. There wasn't no chance A/K woukd survive. Had Leng showed up, he would have killed them all. Just look at Mars. When first running into Cerberus, they were shooting without hesitation. Again, the coup was crap.
And finally the standoff on the Citadel. I wonder if Bioware was trying to copy, or rather make it similiar, the best duel in movie history. Shooting Anderson was overkill since TIM already made his point.
All the deaths from above was done for the feels. Sure it's sad a character dies, but if the lead up to that death is lame, the death doesn't mean much.

That won't work because both Mass Effect and Dragon Age franchises are political stories and the best fiction is the ones that deal with real world political issues in fantastic settings and that is a LONG list too.
My personal mottoes:
1) I would rather be hated for being honest than being loved as a liar.
the best fiction is the ones that deal with real world political issues
With the single problem that people hate real world political issues. I think the best stories in fiction, are ones that portray an unbiased view of either side, with the pros and cons of each and let the player decide for themselves.
When I die, I want Bioware to carry my casket, so they can let me down, one last time.

After ME2, Cerberus suffer several loses by a Turians Surprise Attack and T.I.M. spend several millions credits to hire mercenary companies out of Omega to reclaim those bases. Also in order to get the manpower back, I am sure that he bribe several officials within Citadel space. that cost a lot. I am referencing Mass Effect Retribution.
In short, they will not have the funds to a military platoon or Dr Eva within the timespan given after that to meet up with ME3 mars missions

We all know why..."hard" choices and consequences coupled with limitations in resources and hard deadlines. Of course, I don't disagree but no matter how much of this stuff is implemented there will always be a "why couldn't I do this or that" from players. I doubt we'll ever see the sort of depth you're talking about in a modern AAA RPG.

Check out the above if you want to be really miserable. The bad writing in Mass Effect 3 wasn't due to hard deadlines. It was due to arrogant management and a few bad writers.

“The Indoctrination Theory is a really interesting theory, but it's entirely created by the fans,” Hepler says. “While we made some of the ending a little trippy because Shepard is a breath away from dying and it's entirely possible there's some subconscious power to the kid's words, we never had the sort of meetings you'd need to have to properly seed it through the game.
“We weren't that smart. By all means, make mods and write fanfic about it, and enjoy whatever floats your boat, because it's a cool way to interpret the game. But it wasn't our intention. We didn't write that.”

I got the impression that the mechanism to actually make the dispersal was not responding to the controls on the ground since Mordin seemed to be trying to use them.
I don't mind Thane or Kirrahe dying if they fight Kai Leng in theory. Fight choreography goes a long way to make a character defeat believable. The entire setup would need to be changed though, because everyone just standing in that corridor while that ninja cockfight was going on just doesn't work.
Shooting Udina to incapacitate him when he's trying to kill a Councilor is probably not the best idea. Shepard could miss in actively trying to avoid his center mass, and the Councilor would die, and then Udina would probably need to be shot anyway because he'd probably turn his weapon on someone else. I'd say it's better to be able to talk Udina down and get him to surrender with a certain check, and if that check fails, then he dies. Besides, shooting someone in the shoulder doesn't actually guarantee survival either. If you're firing a gun at someone, you might as well just kill them.

This man spends more money than a billion Chinese tourists and somehow his well never runs dry. No doubt he got in on that Dogecoin early and has enough bank to pay Harbinger to look the other way.
