Just had a thought while defending Ash over on reddit. I would LOVE to have seen a confrontation between non-romanced stalker(sorry meant friendship) Liara and romanced Ash, once Ash learned Liara gave Shepard's body to Cerberus, kept his dog tags, and put the armor Shepard had died wearing in a trophy case. Now that would be SPICY. Forget the Ash/Miranda cat fight I usually pictured if they both were on the Normandy in ME3.

This is something I wanted Shepard to let A/K know about, if the broker dlc was completed. I have a good idea what Ashley would do, and my Shepard would support her, but not sure what the reaction from Alenko would be. I can imagine the look on t'soni's face, and then how she ends up tripping over her tongue trying to weasel her way out of it with some pathetic explanation.

I've obviously been oblivious to all this femshep vs maleshep rivalry. As Obelisk would say 'these romans are crazy'.

These spicy takes make me realize that femshep should have never been an option, how much more could they have done if they didnt have to have a female voice over for the whole game?

These spicy takes make me realize that femshep should have never been an option, how much more could they have done if they didnt have to have a female voice over for the whole game? The only thing that would have changed would be that M!Shep could hook up with Garrus. The fact that the entire cast is voiced is really what creates the biggest impact, not the gender options. If there was no FemShep, the outcome would probably be the same, barring the the human/raptor relations.

Here's another take, don't know if it's spicy though. I dislike what they did to Jack appearance and attitude in ME3 and I can't see her being a teacher, especially without supervision. She had anger issue, trust issues, and possibly suffered from a PTSD and a mild case of psychopathy. I feel as though they gave her the "Miranda" treatment like they did with Ash to make her more appealing to players. Even to the point of censoring herself. It was annoying, and they ruined her personality. In ME2 She was wild, rude, and bombastic. Softening up only a little if Shep gets close to her, and I loved her unique characterization. You either loved her or hated her, and the old BSN reflected this. As I remember there were discussions about how people disliked her and how "unattractive" she was. Jack was purely awesome in ME2. Though Courtenay Taylor as always did a phenomenal job with her voice work. So her change in ME3 was easier to accept.

Not sure how *hot* this take is considering but something that occured to me which...well kind of pisses me off... and this is somehing which contributes to the feeling of ME 2 being a side adventure, but the fact that there was not a single ME 2 squad mate on the squad in 3 unless they were in 1 first was very annoying. I have made multiple posts on my *ideal* squad composition for 3 but Miranda, Grunt, Samara, Jack, and probably Zaeed all could've been easily worked onto the squad for 3.
Also more I think about this the more I realize this might not be too much of a valid opinion, something to think about when I play the LE, but the fact was also that it was off putting that it seemed a lot of the ME 2 companions just redid their ME 2 character arc in 3. This was especially relevant with Samara.

I personally didn't like any of the ME1 squadmates, besides Garrus. But everyone likes Garrus, so he doesn't count, and his role in ME2 was so much better.

Well, I don't care about the banging part. lol, I don't think humans and aliens should ever get that far in a relationship. But I do like that he left C-sec and became a mercenary. The whole Omega underground plot was interesting to me. I even wanted a ME game where the player is a mercenary. But alas, we got Andromeda instead.

Now that would be SPICY. Forget the Ash/Miranda cat fight I usually pictured if they both were on the Normandy in ME3. I wouldn't call her a stalker after ME1, per se....but if the reaction is anything like what can happen on Virmire from Ash (shooting Wrex potentially), it'd probably make me reconsider NOT leaving her with the bomb... which kinda makes me think of another spicy take. Zaeed and Jack are the two best human companions (personality and powers). The rest are subpar. I also liked how Jack looked more in ME 3 than in ME 2 and felt the change was a vast, much needed improvement for her.
And as we're talking about spicy takes.... * puts on flame shield* ....Miranda is nothing special - either in looks, personality or abilities. I just look at her and...well....I don't get the attraction or appeal of her. Chambers I see as being better than Miranda. ...I know this is hot takes about the trilogy, but while I don't get the appeal for Vetra either, VETRA I think is better than Miranda, and if someone said I had to romance one of the two, always taking Vetra. I've obviously been oblivious to all this femshep vs maleshep rivalry. As Obelisk would say 'these romans are crazy'. Yeah...while both sides can be bad, from what I would observe, it is more from the femshep side that would dogpile and chew out the maleshep side (but again, I do remember a few bad takes from Maleshep fans). I recall back on the Old BSN, there would be Femshep trolls that tried to come in and derail the Sheploo thread. Unkamonk (or something like that) was the last one I recall trying by saying, "Maleshep? What's that?" as an obvious troll is obvious, but she was ignored and after that, the thread was left alone. I've played both; I enjoy both. I've already said my spicy take regarding their work in the trilogy, but still think they both did an amazing job. I'm not trying to pick sides in this debate, just trying to add what I've observed and recall.

I don’t know who on the writing staff thought that was a good idea, because it just comes across as creepy and obsessive even if romanced.

The best characters that should have been squadmates. Traynor, Chakwas, Kal'Reegar, Conrad Verner, Mr. Rupert Gardner, Gianna Parasini, Dagg, Padok Wiks, Vasir, space Hamster, TIM,
Characters that should have been in all 3 games - Steve, Samantha, Javik the Great, space hamster, Dagg, Mordin Solus, Gianna Parasini, Rupert Gardner, saluting man, the guy seen on the SR2 walking around saluting Shepard when activated, Miranda
Cerberus is the future of ME.
Without humanity, the reapers would have harvested the other species. Humanity is the best species, has the best clothing, the best entertainment, the best vacation spots, the best food and drink, and of course, the best homeworld, Earth.
Since ME3 was made for the new player being the best place to start playing the trilogy, Bioware should make an ME3 for the players who played the first two games first.
Ashley is better with a sniper rifle than Garrus
There should have been an option for Shepard to say, that's for not killing the asari on Thessia when stabbing Leng
Jacob Taylor would have made a good main character in ME2/3 if Shepard were to remain dead.

For clarifiation more 'obssessive' then 'stalker'...I don't rememeber her doing a lot of stalking but it was clear she was verrryyyy into Shepard whether Shep reciprocated or not.
