It's foggy on Illium now. The background characters are still obviously sprites, but they look slightly better.

Okay, tell me if this was in the original but it looks like there is now weapon descriptions in ME1’s inventory instead of just the manufacturer description.
That’s pretty cool.

I noticed that enemies have the tendency for some reason to stay behind cover and not move until you literally go behind that wall and then they start to shoot you. A little annoying considering that one bomb to the face can kill you on insanity. I found that annoying as well. And then I laughed, would you wanna come out and face Shepard? Haha.
I was like c'mon this isn't The Last of Us 2, don't make me feel bad for shooting you.

The bigger issue is the squadmates blasting away at their covers and even at my Shepard.

or even at the colonists on Feros despite being told not to... and, from what another poster told me, not firing at them when told to let loose and kill them all. The geth seem to have gotten more intelligent, but the rest of the galaxy?... not so much.

So am I imagining this? I could have sworn there used to be another small platform with 2 crates on a somewhat lower level in the area of the Benezia boss fight. I couldn't find those anymore in LE1.

By their own admission, they changed the location to be larger and less cramped.

That is new in the Legendary Edition. They added it because a bunch of weapons now shoot differently than they did in the original. For example, some guns now fire 3- or 5-round bursts, or have faster or slower fire rates than other weapons.

Somewhat off topic, but it's a change for sure. As PC player I always played with KB+M, had some issues with controller support mods and was to lazy to troubleshoot. Started to play with controller now and I must say that it is interesting experience. I'm still in ME1, but I assume that apart binding favorite squadmate powers to DPad snd two Shepard's powers to LB/RB, everything else is the same in later games.

Well yeah, I was quite disappointed first I have to actually pause all the time to launch the powers but there isnt enough buttons on PS5. Thats why I think MEA had divided them, to have faster combat gameplay available, but the "profile change" should just have been a new set of powers change... no I dont have any suggestion how to do that on a limited controller like gamepad without having to pause but the pausing made me feel very "out of the game" compared to ME1 on PC. I havent done it in 10 years or so.

There are now actual fish in the Presidium.
Honestly, it's true. A Krogan told me.
Also, there's a toggleable option to have EDI tell you what the temperature is every five seconds.

Combo of being a completionist and limited time to play, still working on ME1 …
After the patch, all my quick key power choices were gone and when I reloaded them, they no longer worked via my mouse buttons (which were programmed to respond to the quick keys). They worked prior to the patch. Clicking on the quick key still works, but the programmed mouse buttons are unresponsive.
On Feros, it was always a bit buggy with companions following me in the OT, but it's even worse now … they get stuck behind you/on lower levels and never catch up until you go through some kind of transition. Doing a quick save and reload gets them to rejoin you, but the issue repeats itself.
Sound is really wonky (at least in ME1 … I've not finished it yet … taking my time) … game menu sound levels are "correct" … in game, levels are all over the place and voices especially … at times full volume, others almost whisper quiet, often just a bit too quiet.
The news blast about the AI being destroyed on the Citadel is untethered from completing the side quest. I got the news blast well before doing the quest. Thought perhaps the quest was lost to me, but no, it went down like normal. OBTW, the graphics after the AI blows up are a nice touch.
I like the weapon variations in LE. Very nice. One of the ARs is semi-auto, makes me think of the Mattock. Head shots are quite nice. The Avalanche shotgun makes me think of the Crusader. Again, that's quite nice.
From my experience, getting Human Predator L armor X (or any level) was very hard … perhaps that was a bug, got it right off, put that bad boy on Liara, Kaiden gets the next set that drops and I'm not even to Virmire yet. SoonTM. Tali has her Colossus armor, the rest have Predator ... which is nice.
Also, they seem to have fixed the bug where anti-armor rounds stop dropping after you exit the level VII band. The ammo tops out at level VII and in the OT, you didn't get any more after you left that band. Still dropping while in the level X band. Nice.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but........In ME3LE, Matriarch Aethyta no longer mentions Liara's knickers being on fire if you are not in a romance. Nor will Shepard refer to her as 'my girl'.

I found out that on Casbin, one of the planets that you need to go to destroy the geth outposts, there this place that was guarded by Geth Armatures and Geth towers but there was nothing to do there. Now there is signal that can deactivate. It doesn't do anything for the assignment but it's no longer a question mark on your r map that you can't do anything about it. There is also a message that pops up when you deactivate the signal. This is new and potentially very interesting: Discovery: The geth array is transmitting regular data bursts on an encrypted channel, using the Alliance's own FTL comm buoys. It's not clear where the data is being directed, nor the content of the signal.

They made new save after you name the councilor, it serves as import save. On PC it is in Char folder inside ME1 folder. Your right but I did not make a choice till the beginning of ME2
Can you clarify?
Do you mean 1. you didn't make a choice in ME1 but did in ME2 or 2. you didn't make a choice in ME1 and in ME2 that was recognized? Option 1 is how the original works - whether you choose someone or not, the question and answer options assume you did. It would be nice if they fixed ME2 to reflect you not picking anyone in ME1, then have Udina as the default option if you didn't recommend either.

If you choose councilor in ME1LE, then you don't get question about that in ME2LE if you skip Genesis comic. Tested my self.

Do you get the Genesis comic even if you import a save?
Is Liara the squadmate on the Normady SR1 during the Collector attack in the opening prologue, even if you don't romance her in ME1? Because that is how it was on my PS3 version.

As for Liara, can't tell I always had my romance option in old games in the beginning on PC.

I think on PS3 it was bugged that it was always Liara in the Normandy Attack scene. In the Xbox (and PC versions?) it was always either Kaidan or Ashley, or Liara, but only if you romanced her.
