I just finished my first Thresher Maw fight in the ME1LE and I love the changes they made to it, like being able to see the ground underneath it move as its coming at you and it aiming its spit. So much cooler now (and it actually makes the Thresher Maw even scarier). I love it.

Your right but I did not make a choice till the beginning of ME2
Can you clarify?
Do you mean 1. you didn't make a choice in ME1 but did in ME2 or 2. you didn't make a choice in ME1 and in ME2 that was recognized? Option 1 is how the original works - whether you choose someone or not, the question and answer options assume you did. It would be nice if they fixed ME2 to reflect you not picking anyone in ME1, then have Udina as the default option if you didn't recommend either. In me1 I made no choice I skipped the comic so Miranda during their quizzes on the way to the Illusive man she asked me about who I chose

I ended ME1 with 9999999 credits and entered ME2 with the same! Kaching!
Miranda and Jacob didn't suck during Freedom's Progress (on insanity)
The galaxy exploration map music is playing constantly in the background on Normandy - it is going to drive me nuts if this is intended and not a bug.
Not sure if this is a change, but after countless playthroughs on insanity (in the original), I noticed that during MELE Dossier: Archangel, the game didn't offer the usual paragon choice of leaving a squad member with him while you and the other go to close off the shutters. I have to admit it was a lot easier closing those shutters with two team mates.
The other thing was the fight with Tarak and his gunship - I could usually scoot over to the sofa (near Garrus' injured body) and take cover, but his rockets penetrated and I got hit pretty hard and died, also around the concrete window pillar areas, despite killing Cathka earlier on.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but........In ME3LE, Matriarch Aethyta no longer mentions Liara's knickers being on fire if you are not in a romance. Nor will Shepard refer to her as 'my girl'. I think you have to be in a romance with somebody else, since I’m with Kelly (which at this point the game treats as if I’ve never been in any romance) and Aethyta mentions “the way you two look at each other”.

Speaking of, in ME3LE Kelly is first met already having blonde hair instead of her brunette from ME2LE, so her disguise is literally just a different haircut now. Also still has the line summary of “prefer redheads” despite her no longer being one.

Combo of being a completionist and limited time to play, still working on ME1 … After the patch, all my quick key power choices were gone and when I reloaded them, they no longer worked via my mouse buttons (which were programmed to respond to the quick keys). They worked prior to the patch. Clicking on the quick key still works, but the programmed mouse buttons are unresponsive. On Feros, it was always a bit buggy with companions following me in the OT, but it's even worse now … they get stuck behind you/on lower levels and never catch up until you go through some kind of transition. Doing a quick save and reload gets them to rejoin you, but the issue repeats itself. Sound is really wonky (at least in ME1 … I've not finished it yet … taking my time) … game menu sound levels are "correct" … in game, levels are all over the place and voices especially … at times full volume, others almost whisper quiet, often just a bit too quiet. The news blast about the AI being destroyed on the Citadel is untethered from completing the side quest. I got the news blast well before doing the quest. Thought perhaps the quest was lost to me, but no, it went down like normal. OBTW, the graphics after the AI blows up are a nice touch. I like the weapon variations in LE. Very nice. One of the ARs is semi-auto, makes me think of the Mattock. Head shots are quite nice. The Avalanche shotgun makes me think of the Crusader. Again, that's quite nice. From my experience, getting Human Predator L armor X (or any level) was very hard … perhaps that was a bug, got it right off, put that bad boy on Liara, Kaiden gets the next set that drops and I'm not even to Virmire yet. Soon TM. Tali has her Colossus armor, the rest have Predator ... which is nice. Also, they seem to have fixed the bug where anti-armor rounds stop dropping after you exit the level VII band. The ammo tops out at level VII and in the OT, you didn't get any more after you left that band. Still dropping while in the level X band. Nice. I used to get that issue with followers getting stuck on Feros all the time. I was surprised to also get it in the LE - but it's still there. For me it always happens in the tunnels. Never had an issue with sound, it's perfect on my PC. I wonder if there's some kind of setting, or sound setup I'm using that differs from yours? I think that sometimes sound volume issues in games can arise if you're sound setup is set to 5.1 surround sound, but you're not actually using surround speakers, or you're using headphones. Personally I play through headphones, and I've configured my audio to reflect that. Frustratingly I've got Colossus Armor for every one of the companions, with the singular exception of Tali. I've tried absolutely everything, including saving and reloading Morlan's Famous Shop for around 30 minutes, along with the Delan in the Emporian, the guy on Noveria, even the Salarian on Feros - no luck whatsoever. I'm almost at the end of the game now, just about to visit the Council after Virmire, so I guess I'll just suck it up and accept she's never going to have it, unless I get real lucky with this last trip to the Citadel.

Yep. Sounds are very strangely done, I dunno what happened there. Someone talks very low volume, and the quality at least on PS5 is .. well its not bad until you know what to listen, but its kinda screeching the aliasing. It is not happening in original PC version at least. Uncharted Worlds when the 'flute' starts after a while aliases really heavily. Not on original. Same on Feros. Also not ALL music and talk aliases. Very strange. Its either playing them on wrong resolution or the files are low quality versions. Both unacceptable as original PC version at least had higher quality. I'm gonna record PS5 output this weekend if I find a suitable cable... then make a comparison file A/B. Also, Sokolov with explosive rounds reminds me of Scattershot in MEA, the hits of projectiles are about the same form, but twice the amount in 1LE. It made me play a lot MEAMP last night

I’ve always relied on the engineer in Bring down the sky dlc to get Quarian Colossus X. It was a pain to acquire it before MELE

I use an external 5.1 THX surround system (no headphones). Since ME1 LE seems to be the only game I've had with this issue … and game sound options are limited to voice/music/effects volumes … I'm pretty sure the issue is with the game and not my hardware settings. I went back to the game to see if there was some sound option I missed … perhaps in the MELE screen options … but no, the only sound options are in ME1, limited in the way I stated.
The sound problems were raised in other forums, hopefully the next patch BioWare issues will include a fix. If you have no issues with headphones, perhaps the game is defaulting to a headphone setup, creating issues for anyone using external speakers. Add a toggle in the sound setup, to allow for external speakers? In some games, I can select which sound port I'm using. In other games, it merely wants to know if I'm using headphones or external speakers.

There appears to be no item inventory limit in ME1. I'm well past the old 150 item limit and I've not received any notification yet or insistence that I omni-gel new items.

Do you know if a re-import into ME1 will still allow that limit to be exceeded because it dumps all your squad's weapons (with their mods still attached) and armor (also with their mods still attached) into your inventory... or do they now start with the same equipment they had equipped when you finished ME1 the previous time with that character?

Just some visual changes mainly but noticing a lot of subtle tweaks here and there.
Noticed a few slight changes to the Kasumi loyalty mission - the second YMIR mech fight is somewhat more difficult as it can get past the first barrier. Must be a bug when Kasumi takes cover mid air (see pic below). There are other little tweaks too such as no second wave of enemies in the room before the landing platform.
Completely trivial but they've introduced some less drab, pretty new colours and text on cargo/machinery during Miranda's loyalty mission.
The planet image of Illium is looking a bit wonky - not exactly seamless anymore.

- ME1 characters completely overhauled to match ME3, like Udina and Anderson. Pressly's grey hair gone, Garrus' looks seem to draw some inspiration on that 2006 beta look and others. Well there is always a strange expection. They don´t use the Khalisah Al-Jilani ME 3 character model in ME 1 and ME 2.
Also something "weird" i am almost done but for 99% every item container is where it used to but they cut one in Eden Prime
(the body after Jenkins death scene) and all those in Benezia bossroom.

I'm on console, and I agree that the audio levels is screwed in ME1. Also using surround sound. Dialogue is inconsistent, but most of the time not bad. My main issue is weapon sounds being way to loud. I set effect volume to 20%, but then I can't hear other effects, like the fountain on the Presidium.

They buffed ME3 Engineer Combat Drone.
Higher base damage and all the upgrades deals more damage as well.
The sentry turret too deals more damage now.

Ergates' post got me thinking about Win10 settings. Using headphones, his sound is fine, using external speakers, several folks have issues.
I mentioned that perhaps the game is defaulting to headphones … with no option to select something else.
Win10, sound properties for your system, "Spatial Sound" for headphones is either "Off" or "Windows Sonic for Headphones" … so off for external speakers, right? Especially if you are not using headphones.
I changed selections and booted up the game … don't have time to run a mission, so could only test on the Normandy. Will try later, in a mission (Virmire is next up) to see if it's better. Fingers crossed, but I'm not optimistic.
Also, if you select the headphones option, take care mucking with the speaker setup in Windows … it will change your selections, that you'll have to change back if you view them (wtf) … change back to the proper settings and the WSfH will be toggled to off … so you'll have to switch it back. A lot of mucking around for something that might not fix the game sound issue … or if it does, might cause problems elsewhere. BioWare just needs to patch the sound.
Kind of like the lack of M+KB testing back in the day, my guess is their sound tests were done over headphones and they had no clue there were issues with external speakers. SMDH.
Added: You can either have the spatial headphone setting or 5.1 surround (a setting in a different tab) but not both. So, not unexpectedly, it's up to BioWare to patch the sound, so that folks with external speakers (outside of perhaps 2.1 systems) can have ME1 game sounds and dialog that's not borked.

Did they fix the scars from ME1 not showing up in ME2 and 3? Or do you still lose them Sadly no, they insisted to keep Renegade scars only.

Shepard's skin was completely regrown. It's completely logical to lose any scars they had previously.

Ok! here's the latest (and I'm PISSED) they completely screwed up Ashley's romance plus the Citadel DLC during the beginning of the Party Ashley voice acting gave me cues that we were romantically together but not so doing the Couch photo It was the default Leara back at the dock to Normandy it was Joker talking to me In short I wasted Loads of my time, and no I tripped all the triggers for Her romance lest Bioware changed thing and not bothering to tell or at least hint. ready for a refund.
