Who do you think will be the protagonist in ME5?

I am in two camps. Camp 1 is good character, good story and good game play camp. Camp 2 is New Character camp. I don't care if it is Ryder twins, Shepard, or new character(yes I will blush heavily if they uses any of my characters)

I think it's going to be Ryder.
I hope it's a new character.

Who I hope: Ryder
Who I think: New protagonist
Who I fear: Shepard

Well, Shepard's story is over one way or the other, so that's very unlikely.

The trailer was mostly focused on the Milky Way, so it's unlikely to be Ryder either.

That leaves new protagonist. Which is what I'd prefer.

If the new pc is from ark 6 it will be lame. Someone here said being the benefactor which is way more interesting.

There are hints that suggest we might play as Ryder. From concept art to tweets etc.

But if not a then I would be happy with a new character. If we're forced to play Ryder , I hope he/she has developed a stronger personality, grown some cajones and thrown SAM out of the airlock

A Merc.

Liara didn't look sad. Looked like someone appraising a situation with a little reminiscence. And an eye to the future.

We will be a nameless Merc, working for the Shadow Broker or telling her to fuck off and making out on our own. Either way, there will be a situation somewhere that needs our special skills, and we will be sent there to deal with it.

Andromeda will be involved, as the remaining big bad in our galaxies is there. Some Ryder cameo, their sex based on a conversation choice you make earlier. Would not be sad to see a Ryder get Hawke'd.

Andromeda will not be the focus, because we can't save the fucking galaxy every single god damned time we play Mass Effect. I am tired of it. Shrink the stakes, tell a personal story.

I might have confused some people with what i say. Didn't mean to play as the benefactor rather having them on ark 6 as a big plot point.

Doesn't hint at the little one returning. If Ryder were to return, why not show a character from that game like showing the asari from the trilogy? If I were to liked MEA without playing the trilogy, then asked someone who the character is being shown in the teaser, then learning that character is from the trilogy, I would believe Bioware isn't doing anything related to MEA. 

As far as the N7 goes, that would apply to father Ryder. It had nothing to do with his kid. If somehow N7 is in a sequel to MEA, does that mean one of the people in cryo is a or a former N7 awaken to be the main character? If not, the only thing that would relate to N7 is if the little one mentions their dad was a former N7 otherwise it has no purpose.
