I disagree. The original planned K3 by Obsidian with the lovecraftian Sith Lords in the Old Sith Empire as a direct sequel to TSL is what should have been. TOR is its own thing altogether

Of the two KOTOR games TSL is my favorite. As well as The Exile being my favored protagonist out of him and Revan. So I was annoyed when I read how the Exile was killed like a chump by some no name Sith. That's why i wanted Chris Avellone and the original Obsidian team to make KOTOR 3. They respected the game that came before theirs unlike BioWare that completely shoved TSL under the rug. But I did enjoy SWTOR I just did not like that it took 300 years to finish Revan's story, when everyone they knew and love had been long dead. As for the canon gender of both Revan and the Exile. To me Revan has always been female and the Exile male. That's my head canon anyway.

Exactly! Plus a female Dark Lord is hot! But my head canon is similar to yours and I agree about Handmaiden. She is one of the best in the series along with Atton, Sion, and Kreia. Oh and my Exile always uses the same head you picked.

As for Obsidian I know this is a BioWare forum but I much preferred KOTOR 2. I am not a war veteran but for some reason I can connect with The Exile more than with Revan. But yeah Chris Avellone and the other writers from the Obsidian team that developed KOTOR 2 were god tier. You know Chris Avellone said once in an interview that both Obsidian and BioWare approached Lucas Arts each with their own KOTOR 3 pitch but were denied. I don't know if SWTOR followed BioWare's original pitch for KOTOR 3, but I definitely know it did not follow Obsidian's. But like I said I enjoyed SWTOR for what it is, just would have been nice to find out the fates of the KOTOR 2 crew besides The Exile. Which speaking of the Exile you think there would be some mention of them in the game since they rebuilt the Jedi Order but nope none from what I saw. Not a statue not a plaque or anything.
