As long as we have the freedom to pick and choose our missioons (and not be stuck doing "anything for money" like Shepard working for TIM in ME2) I'd be okay with it. Cerberus is even worse, as there's not even money in it. It is just for sake of "'umanity 1st!!!1", (or "them bugz killin' humanz!!1"). True, they wouldn't give or even sell us upgrades, we had to mine our own minerals and build our own stuff...hey just like the Inquisition!

I'm just sitting there thinking, only 8 years? Dang, all those characters who were in their twenties and thirties are still going to be hot. As per all those twisted time frames and world scale events, DA2 Templars doubted whether someone's a mage or not when that person was locked up in the Gallows and Meredith hung a label MAGE on them, thus, what can I expect of all those historical, intertwined lines to be consistent. I just hope DA4 Hero has a sense of humour the way Hawke and Warden did to make fun of it all.
I wasn't really digging Solas' plot line and was ready for a completely new story at the end of Inq, but it is what it is. I would have preferred a massive time jump into the past or future and a completely new story where the previous trilogy choices wouldn't be mentioned at all as it's getting overly complicated. I'd rather have more char development than spending resources on thinking how to make all the previous pieces fit.
So - if I were answering the question - I want to see a lot of dynamic changes, completely new factions and environment, and I want to look forward more than back. I'd be fine for ex if Anora/Alistair/Whoever retired from the throne and all of them named exactly the same token npc as Ferelden King with who I don't have to interact because I want to see what's going on in another part of the world and don't care what is happening in Ferelden right now.
