I just brought a PS4 and ordered Ghost of Tsushima along with God Of War. It’s probably dumb to buy a PS4 now since next gen are only a couple months away, but the positive reviews forced my hand. On the bright side when I do get next gen I can give my brother and sister each a game system.

It might go to PC in a couple of years. Like HZD and a few other titles that were recently released. If it does, cool. If it doesn't, I can watch the cutscene movie and game play over Twitch. I'm not missing much.

Sunk an hour into this earlier today and was super-encouraged by what I saw, though I'm already kind of regretting opting for the Japanese audio track (performances are fine - I'm just not fully able to appreciate those early cinematics whilst reading subtitles). May start over tomorrow.

Then because the world is too gorgeous to play entirely in monochrome, I restarted a third time back in colour.

The Japanese gave their thumbs up to this game. It's the third western produced game that garnered uniform approval from the Japanese. The other two were Elder Scrolls and GTVA V.

After watching game play and the entire game cutscene movie, I agree. It's a very good game with an interesting story. Reminiscence of the Akira Kurosawa movies.

Great game!!

I'm three hard days into it and have just now started Act 2 which lets you start working on the middle third of the map. Overall the gameplay and graphics really feels similar to Horizon Zero Dawn ( my favorite game of all time! ). Swordplay is a rush, especially once you have learned the 4 different stances and have them upgraded. Assassin mode, at least for me, is alot more difficult than say in AC Odyssey. The AI seems to be more aware overall compared to that game.

Have to say I'm really enjoying the story also.
