I was trying to find a way to avoid another resurrection scenario (although admittedly that doesn't occur in game) and having a solution that doesn't involve Flemeth and her coven. Having Avexis save the day would be a good way to bring her full circle in her character arc. Still, as I say, you don't actually have to involve either scenario, just have a quest to find the requisite knowledge or maybe some sort of artifact that controls dragons, a bit like the horn that the Cult of Andraste had at Haven. Now there was at least one survivor of that group, who was coerced into joining the Inquisition in return for her freedom from prison, and appeared in multi-player, so that is another possibility that would tie in with previous history we know about.
