Well, I'm getting horrendous stuttering/lag in both ME3 original and LE, ME1 LE, but not it seems in ME1 original.
Neither does it seem to happen in CP2077, Fallout 4 or (don't mock, base package that I got for free) Star Citizen.
I think I might just have to try the reddit solution I mentioned previously.

My Mass Effect original game has always run perfectly ever since I got the patch that installed both of the DLCs, as well as fixed the lava on Therum. I got ME1 from EA/Value games for like 5 bucks. Best 5 bucks I ever spent. Anyhow, the original lava looked like oily tar - except it would Critical Mission Failure the Mako instantly. The only issue I have is with ME3 Original - I only play the MultiPlayer, as the single player story is less than agreeable to me. The new EA App tht replaces lolOrigin is just as bad, if not worse than Origin. I am seeing more players now though, which I greatly enjoy. Its good to have lobbies that instatly fill again. Now, if EA could just get this stuff to run cleanly and with maximum stability, then would be back in business, so to speak.

Reddit post seems to work. Origin installed, no 'update' done. Tried an unknown/unknown/gold. Nothing out of the ordinary. Hope it stays this way. probably won't, but oh well.

I will see how shit the game wants to play, how laggy etc... without an independent matchmaker so we can play this game outside of Origin or EA crAPP. I know that this has been achieved on the LAN level...
I had enough bad shit going on already today IRL and just wanted a moment of respite killing things with pimpslaps and fire. EA app overlay does not work for me if I use a re-shade. And overlay is the only way to send invites.
EA app tends to forget what games I own from time to time, and struggles to remember when I restart it.

I just got rid of EA app, reinstalled Origin and did the .xml file edit to stop Origin from shoving EA app in my face all the time.
Just recently half of my library was missing again in EA app. It's such a piece of trash, doesn't work properly, lacks some settings that Origin has and it also sorts my Dead Space games in the wrong order because they added (2008) behind the first one but didn't add any year info behind the second and third game of the serie. And they missed the TM as well. Not a big deal, but it bothers me (bothers me on Steam as well). They also only show the installed games on top while Origin just lists them all and if I'm too stupid to remember which games I have installed I can just use the filter function in Origin.

i had an "originthinsetup" file on my disk and the install fucked up, but it pointed me to a full origin setup that worked. The trick worked too, so i enjoyed a disconnect and a bronze lobby while searching UUG with the good old origin. LOL Though my mouse problem is unacceptable anymore ... I have mouse aids in ME3. It s like it s out of sync and only fast steps moving. I was thinking it was my USB female ports as the other 3 have been a mess for a few years, but it s only with ME3, so pretty sure it s fucked up somewhere  . Time to quit ! |

well,by editing a .xml origin file , i stopped the forced migration to EAapp... so i'm back with Origin, so nice, so smooth, so lovely .
i also was also told to disable the nahimic service in windows which would be the culprit of all my problems with EAspp not launching ME3. But i'll stick to beautiful Origin for now.
