I wanted my next run to be a redemptive Durge run. But I won't do it if I have to kill an innocent. So what is the no-reroll DCs rule?

Open Handed Monk is the best one, especially for bare handed monk. Focus attributes on Dex and Wis, you'll be using Dex to hit and damage bonus and both stat for AC. No need for charisma or intelligence. Str can also be raised easily with Hill giant potions (most NPCs who sell potions have them on stock and restock them after sleep) if you want to go the Tavern Brawler route.


As someone else said, there is an NPC that allows respec once you find him and he join your camp.

Cleric generally offers plenty of healing without specializing your build for it. Just have Healing Word prepared to get downed allies back on their feet. (Did you know that you can throw potions onto allies? It's often more advantageous to do this than to cast a spell.)

I highly recommend Light Cleric. It has an insane defensive feature and phenomenal combat spells. It also has great itemization support (loot that makes it extremely powerful.) The great domain spells (that are automatically prepared for Light Clerics) are so good for combat that you can really pick whichever other spells you wish to prepare, including healing spells.

If you still want to go for healing, the Life Domain is what you want. It's all about further buffing your healing spells.
