My guess is late 2025 release - and we'll get a trailer with that at Game Awards (specific date announced some point next spring/summer, I guess!) Book came out last month and they've been dropping more and more lore and race/creature stuff now. Anyhow, I know we have a bunch of RPGs and other games beforehand, but really looking forward to this - I know Anthem was a bit disappointing but really looking forward to what Karpyshyn and Ohlen etc are cooking!

They are also flooding the news feeds with AI articles about ME5 in the title, but when you click to read them it's all actually about Exodus. Seems to be another stupid marketing trick and whoever thought of it should be forced to keep clearing the Hinterlands for 10 years.
They are definitely after the Bioware fans and I am starting to dislike their approach.

I don’t think they’re writing the articles or headlines themselves 😛 I doubt this marketing stunt is being done without the knowledge of the studio or publisher. Someone is definitely pushing it for a while now.

I don’t think they’re writing the articles or headlines themselves 😛 I doubt this marketing stunt is being done without the knowledge of the studio or publisher. Someone is definitely pushing it for a while now. I absolutely believe marketing thought it was a good idea to do a marketing push while the studio the lead devs are most associated with is getting more attention. i don’t believe they’re actively pushing gaming journalists/slop farms and creators to write confusing headlines about Mass Effect. That just seems like journalists and creators would do of their own accord to drive clicks.

What they’ve said in Q&A videos points more toward mission based. When you leave the planet Lidon each time you are going to a specific place for a specific purpose. The use of time dilation in the plot (years may pass while you are away) necessitates this. However, we don’t know about exploration within the systems and planets we visit.

I wonder if the game will have some kind of Multiplayer? There were some Q&A videos but i dont remember if this question was asked. For sure we will have probably strong single campaign with this time dilation thing, but the reason i ask is the email i got for refering 3 other ppl. The text is:

Essentially, they’re naming the playerbase, “Travelers” as they try to encourage the formation of a fan community around the upcoming game. That doesn’t mean anyone is playing together though. It’s not impossible, but I don’t think the wording means anything. |
