I think if they let us to visit TWO cities than it will be more than enough, as long as it won't be small areas like in Val Royeaux's case. I have a feeling we'll mostly be able to roam around Minrathous, and the rest of cities will be available in small sections, or corridors for missions. Honestly, as long as Minrathous is big enough, i will be satisfied even with just one proper city. I really like how unique Minrathous is because it looks like fantasy cyberpunk.

Anyway.... we know we will visit Minrathous, but should we expect to visit other big cities? We did see shots of Antiva City from time to time in released material, and it's quite apparent that Crows will play a significant role in this chapter. We learned that city is Treviso, not Antiva City.

I need cities to feel alive. BioWare has had some pretty dead towns in the past with people just sort of standing around (Val Royeaux). I want cities where convos are happening I can overhear.

More ofte ntha nnot it's a bi to fboth. As that often refrs t othe equipmen tan dabilities you choose to tak ewit hyou o nyour next mission/quest. Yeah, but i wish they just explained it properly. It seems there is quite a few abilties to choose from which is a good thing, but equipping them manually every time will be a pain. We're going, correction I am going, to need a really detailed breakdown video from the Devs on how we level up and work this skill tree before release.

We get a homebase from Solas again. We interrupt Solas plan again. We get changed by interrupting said plan again. We're stopping Blighted morons who want to rule the world again. You can make a part 2 of a saga without repeating part 1? we interrupted Cory's plan not Solas's. ... The only difference being the name of the cognitively impaired villain

I guess I feel less bad about only two party members if they've made ways to bring others attached to the party into the combat. Davrin will have the griffin and maybe Neve can coax forth an ice elemental of some kind etc. But it does seem this new system is deceptively simple and maybe deeper than I thought.

I know some people laugh at Corypheus being a week villain, but... he isn't? He is an expert on slinking through the shadows in deep secrecy and building up his power until it's basically too late for anyone to react - he made Venatori into a power to reckon with and almost had the South in his grasp basically without any fight (infiltrated Templars, remaining mages and even the Winter Palace). Things went sideways only because he's decided he wants a high-value sacrifice for his ascension, and then some rookie disrupted the ritual and began investigating what's this all about and where all of that is leading - which is only then when his elaborate plans began to unravel. Let's give the guy some credit where it's due.

Solas to Rook: Wake the fuck up, samurai.I'd say Solas' situation is more similar to ehh Dream Guardian from BG3 rather than Johnny. Does it mean that we will see Solas half naked ?

I have doubts Solas would try to seduce Rook to use them It's not his style - even in Inquisition where we can romance him, he's reluctant and keeps warning that this is just a bad idea all around. I also don't think we'd have a relationship similar to the one with the Guardian, considering that everything's out in the open, basically - Rook knows what Solas' deal is, even though I'm quite sure there will be moments when Solas may try to convince Rook to his cause, or at least try to make him understand his motives.

In any case, we already got hints that somewhere in the game we may see Solas that is different to how we saw him in Veilguard, namely: we may see something from his past... back when he still had hair That'll be almost as weird as seeing him half-naked - I'm too used to his shiny head.

So if Solas is getting trapped in the Fade and the villains are two of the Evanuris, then what was the point of all that build-up involving the red lyrium idol? Is that just getting shuffled to the side? The Blue Lyrium looking blade that Solas is using in the ritual and Rook is wielding in the poster/box art may be a purified version of the blade the red Lyrium idol transformed into in Tevinter Nights. I imagine we will get dream sequences with him at key points in the story and our choices there would open up a contextual dialogue option to convince him at the final fight. But he will still betray us after leaving the fade, if he's supposed to be the final boss, BioWare wouldn't let us skip the entire endgame. Aye I'm guessing he'll help us with Ghilan'nain and Elgar'nan but try to restart his ritual and take down the veil again in the end so we'll still have to kill him, with an option to convince him to stop depending on our choices in the main story previously and what we've said to him in our dreams. I hope that any ongoing conversations we have with Solas will allow us to roleplay different attitudes towards him and not just listen to whatever he sais. I also hope we can argue with him intelligently and make good points, none of that 'the player character can only say something simple and then the npc tears it down and the conversation is over' stuff. We'll be in Solas house, with our babe, our friends, our loot, saving the world. Didn't someone say something about a spirit entity helping us craft things? What's the betting that's Solas trying to be helpful from the Fade because he just can't imagine how we can manage without him. I think that will be Nadas dirthalen, the archive spirit, after Bellara repair the artefact they're attached to.

Another curious detail is how all the specializations have the icon of one of the available backgrounds. Indeed! I note that the Reaper spec for warrior has a Mourn Watch symbol - a spirit warrior spec? *She said hopefully*Overall looks like each factions themed specs are Shadow Dragon: Evoker Mourn Watch: Death caller, Reaper Antivan Crows: Spellblade, Duelist Veil Jumper: Veil Ranger Lords of Fortune: Saboteur, Slayer Grey Wardens: Champion

So far I’m excited from what we’ve heard about Bellara. Might have to rethink how I will play my first Rook since it sounds very similar. Or just lean into it and have them be two peas in a pod. She sounds adorable. I think I'm going to romance her with my goth Mourn Watch Reaper for maximum contrast.

... The only difference being the name of the cognitively impaired villain Both of them are actually very capable schemers, who almost got what they wanted. I know some people laugh at Corypheus being a week villain, but... he isn't? He is an expert of slinking through the shadows in deep secrecy and building up his power until it's basically too late for anyone to react - he made Venatori into a power to reckon with and almost had the South in his grasp basically without any fight (infiltrated Templars, remaining mages and even the Winter Palace). Let's give the guy some credit where it's due. he basically had it in the bag, but for a happy accident. I won't deny there were problems with the delivery, but I have a soft spot for Coryphneous or whatever his fucking name was. One of the best back-stories for a villain I've ever seen.
