We need evidence from sources that weren’t in her or the Evanuris camp to really know where they all place on the scale. This is why I would really like Bellara to be an ancient elf from an independent faction. The memories of some of the elves in the Vir Dirthara seemed pretty antagonistic towards Fen'Harel, yet the fact they were aware he was responsible for the destruction seems to suggest they possibly had been more friendly towards him before and he was about to do something major or why would they automatically assume that was the case? They have hinted at a tragic past for Bellara but one she has moved past in a more positive way than Solas. Why did that have to be in the modern world? The Executors sound pretty dodgy but the fact that Solas warned against them is almost a recommendation in my eyes. What might their representative have revealed had Solas not turned them to stone? I think the Ariqun and priestesses of the Qunari may know something too, or why was Rasaan so intent on finding Solas' true name? Also, they were researching strengthening the Veil, so it appears they must have been aware it was a construct rather than an ever present part of the fabric of the world. What about the dwarves? The memories in Kal-Sharok may be revealing. Remember they destroyed the thaig that aided the elves fleeing Arlathan Forest. Was that simply not wanting to compromise their alliance with Tevinter or something more, a memory of what the elves once did to them or rather what Mythal did to them? Who really invented the golem ritual and the anvil of the Void? I think Caradin merely recovered ancient knowledge that came from one of the Evanuris, probably June. I think there may well be sources of history out there that are not reliant upon Solas, Mythal or their allies (or the other Evanuris for that matter), we just have to find them.

By the way gervaise21 the faction I was talking about is the Veil Jumpers we'll meet in Arlathan after the intro. It's npcs who were in comics or books, can't remember and they'll send us after Bellara.

By the way gervaise21 the faction I was talking about is the Veil Jumpers we'll meet in Arlathan after the intro. It's npcs who were in comics or books, can't remember and they'll send us after Bellara. Oh I see. Yes, that would make sense. I hardly think such a major magical event in the area wouldn't attract attention and they are meant to be there studying weird magical phenomena. I'd be surprised if Rook's party were the only ones involved initially. I think a lot was probably left out of the articles that would explain what is going on but they were told to leave it out as we had had enough spoilers already. The Veil Jumpers were introduced as a group in the Missing but Strife and Irelin and featured in both Tevinter Nights and the short story Ruins of Reality, so they are very much associated with what is happening in Arlathan, not all of which seems Solas related although I suppose it could be indirectly the result of his ritual. After all, it has apparently been going on for years. Strife and Irelin have also been in the forest for a fair amount of time too. Their clan and others according to Three Trees to Midnight had been in the area since the time of the Qunari attack on Ventus. That was not long after the events of Trespasser, so they have been there years rather than months at this point. I assume that Solas must have placed certain wards around his ritual area for others not to have found it before Rook & Co did. In fact, it would even seem he deliberately left the eluvian open that allowed them to reach there or may be it was to allow others to escape. I can't believe he set that site up all on his own.
