That game truly is DAO's spiritual successor

I feel like Rook should have more agency when it comes to this kind of stuff than the Inquisitor who was the head of a quasi religious organization but I guess it comes down to what the current devs are willing to implement and what mindset they have.

I disagree, that sort of thing adds flavor to the game, as is the case with BG3 and The Witcher.

Also, the ability to visit whores with your LI would be nice.

It does but only in the proper context.  The DA4 crew will be based in the Fade, as opposed to directly in Minrathous.  Risking a trip through the eluvians just for a romp isn't the same as walking the streets of Novigrad or visiting Sharess' Caress while entering Baldur's gate. 

Last I checked, whore is a derogatory term so yes misogyny.

That's all fine and dandy, but my character liked to have a nice rough and tumble especially after a long day of fighting demons, bandits etc...  

I'd like a seedy-ass bar/brothel/disgusting joint disreputable establishment just to hang out with the gang for drinks and laughs. Hookers I mean seks workers are fun. ^^

What misogyny? They use that word in the games all the time to refer to prostitutes of both genders, it's the freaking middle ages after all.

My main objection is that the brothels and sex work generally was depicted as just a bit of fun, except when used by a blood mage to capture Templar recruits. That is not the reality even in the lore books. Zevran's mother was forced into prostitution by the Crows after their murder of his father left her to pay off his debts. There were likely plenty of other people in her situation working in brothels run by criminal gangs or being trafficked by them. Remember in Tevinter, no one cares what your sexuality is provided you restrict your activities to behind closed doors with slaves or in the downtown brothel (which is where Alexius first found Dorian). So, if they include brothels they also ought to address the darker side of this industry, which is just the same in the real world. If they are not prepared to do that, then I prefer they leave them out altogether.

They stated years ago that there would be no brothels.
