Ripping off the Shadowlands expansion for WoW is certainly a choice, given how poorly it was received.

I would say that the Blight is "under control" now. The heart of the Blight is still confined behind the Veil and the Black/Golden City is still very difficult to reach. The blighted Evanuris are gone. All 7 Archdemons are dead. The most powerful of the Ancient Magisters (Cory) is also dead, the Architect is possibly dead too (or paeceful). The Titans found their dreams so, while the existent Red Lyrium (blighted Lyrium) is still there and can "spill over" from tears in the Veil, no more red lyrium will be created. The Blight went "all in" in Veilguard and lost, I would say. They have no good cards left to play (at least, nothing we are aware of) I’m very unclear about what this means. How did the Titans “find their dreams” and what does that mean? The Blight still exists though, right? Just without the “supercharged” version Ghilan’nain created and without the call of the old gods to guide the darkspawn. So we should see the remaining darkspawn basically acting like poisonous disunited orc tribes now, with leaders like the remaining magisters or emissaries, or just big strong ones emerging to lead sections of the horde. The GW side quests in the Wetlands has some focus on something else commanding the Blight that isn't the gods.

"We have found the dreams again, We will awaken" from Whispers in Red Lyrium - dragonage.fandom.com/wiki/Note:_Whispers_Written_in_Red_LyriumNow, we know that its because the Titans were made tranquil, effectively.

Weekes said they couldn’t tell a Gaider like story so they’d take their own direction.
Respectable to understand that and not make an imitation.
That said, to take everything we worked for and say people can’t be individually bad, and all the bad in the world was one group was just not it

I think I'm right in saying: [About companion survivability] That every companion is quantum. You can't kill everyone, but you can kill anyone. That rules out reappearances unless BW suddenly gets a taste for carrying over more choices, which seems doubtful. Well that’s assuming they’ll. care about respecting player choice. They don’t appear to have been at all careful in terms of overwriting previous choices in veilguard.

Of the top of my head, one was Cole being mentioned as part of inquisition even if not recruited. On top of things of re-using romanceable characters and not giving mention to loved ones very much leaves me with impression respecting player choice wasn't a high priority.

That's honestly extremely minor, considering 99.999999999999999 of all playthroughs out there include him.
What I wonder though is
if the Titan we see in Harding's final mission is up to their usual scale. While it's certainly big, I wonder if there were bigger ones.
Also - there is a giant statue in the game that suspiciously looks like Solas and Mythal embracing. The elves knew!

Please, show this giant statue. I think I saw it clearly in Act 3 while running on roofs. So I am guessing I'll have to look for it in Minrathous, unless it's Act 3 specific vista.

And some of the vista in the Grand Necropolis (and the stolen room) looks similar to the houses in the wellsprings in The Descent, with big skeleton statues everywhere. There is also plants and flowers blooming down there, like in the wellspring.

It looks different, but it just seems like a stylization of the same symbol. The original description is “downward triangle, two wavy lines.” Seems to fit the bill.

Yeah, I thought the Titan is smaller than what we were expecting. The Descent made us think they should be at least as big as the large mountains, so probably 2-3 times bigger than what we saw in Harding's mission.
Now, it could have been argued it's a distance thing and the Titan was much further away than it seemed from the top of the mountain.
But are those ribcages in the Necropolis from real entities or someone played too much with their fantasy and architectural magic?

But are those ribcages in the Necropolis from real entities or someone played too much with their fantasy and architectural magic? It's a good question. The impression I had was that the Grand Necropolis did most of the decorating itself...or the greater spirits in it...or maybe the Lords use that as a hobby.

If we get another game after DATV and what we know now I think we will go to Par Vollen, Seheron, maybe we will get some more lore on humans and Qunari since elven and dwarven lore was explained. One can dream

The reason I don't think we will go to Par Vollen, at least not solely, is for character and enemy variety. We're not going to be tripping over elves, humans & dwarves surely...

Hypothetically speaking (because it won't happen) I would like a DA sequel that'd be essentially BG3 set in the DA universe

What i want for DA5 is: that EA don't restrict the dev. to a certain styl. And for Bioware to not run after trends. I know they need to make money, but DA2 and DATV show EA don't know gamers.
My most fear is the writing. Not because of DATV, i am okay with the writing their. But because some of the dev. that write it aren't with Bioware anymore. I fear i will not see Bioware writting again. And yes for me DATV is Bioware writing.

I've been thinking more about it and I think there might be a link between the Executors and the Promisers.
The Promisers were destroyed multiple time (3 at least, last one in the Exalted Ages) but always come back. They were affiliated to Corypheus in DAI (irc, outside of the Lord Seeker, all the Promisers are red templars). They are a post-Andraste/pre-Chantry cult "officially", but that might just be a cover since they act like Chantry posers.
So are the Executors working toward destroying the world by fire so it gets reborn a paradise? They need the Veil down for that.
And destroying the world by fire to get it reborn seems to be what the Elves did: - Elgy has Andruil use her spear to burn the world (according to Solas in Veilguard) - Andruil kill the Pillars of the Earth to bloom flowers from their passing - elves planted the Brecilian forest
That spear was mentioned clearly in a DAI codex. It's starting to feel like a checkov's gun...

I would want them to set the game in one or two countries, spending more time in more locations of each, with a plot grounded in the politics, societal issues, and history of those countries.
I’ve made no secret of my disappointment in DAV in that respect, but put that aside for now.
I don’t think we need another god monster plot after having DAI and DAV back to back.
