Environment and especially vista type of shots look great. Also, shoot me - I actually like the 'run down the tunnel' DA2 and DAO map types. I liked the way Inquisition looked too, but it drove me bananas that I had to run 50 times around some giant hill to locate an obscure path to the top that looks almost identical to the rest of the unclaimable hillside, just so I could reach a shard. I'm with you. Inquisition's habit of making me constantly scramble around, running in frustrating circles around the same hill or cliff searching for a hidden way up got old real fast.

DAV made me realize I compulsively use the "dodge/roll" action whenever deliberately dropping off ledges in games - by not enabling me to do that, by ways of some weird invisible wall child safety -function, and it driving me. the fuck. nuts. Every single time. (It's also surprisingly relevant in combat when I time evasive maneuvers by dropping off somewhere)
Still the takeway is I feel so compelled to do that automatically and never realized. Jumping seems too flamboyant and just walking off feels... strangely "unsatisfying".

Yeah htat's on eof the big annoyances of Open Worl dgames trying t ofind a pa ththa tleads where you want to go.

I have played the dalish origin (not sure as the gender i played as) and it was dark but not horror. Totally okay The same goes for the castless dwarf (i played all origin), the redcliff questline and the Sacred ashes quest. The cinematic i scip with the veil jumper was much worse than that. I have said it before, maybe it is because i don't like moving tentacles especially on the neck. I will look into the other scene you mentioned, even if i don't know what you mean in the Dalish/werewolf questline. But i think i will know it when i see it.
I didn't mean Dalish, I meant city elf. That is horrifying. Warning for SA and character deaths. I was already wondering. The Dalish is harmless, but you are right with the warning for the city elf. But for me it is easy to go with it, because you see nothing at all. All happen behind closed doors. (This doesn't mean that it isn't bad) I have hear of people that have to stop the city elf run, because of the story. But as i said Fire emblem have stories like that as well. You only never see them. And to make it clear i don't want to see them.
So to see a less bad version in cinematic is worse for me, than only hear or read of something much worse happen. I can't explain it really well. Let's say with cinematic my head put me in the situation of the character show on screen.
