The body model of Scott, and the ratio between torso and legs, it's the same in all the shots taken in game. The only one where it didn't is the kit, which, based on previous experience, isn't representive of the character's appearance in the game. Morrigan was different from her kit. He looks fine in the game, so I don't see big reason to worry so far. Well we shall see. Bioware needs to release some gameplay soon They do...for other reasons. They shown Scott already in January at the CES keynote, you can see his body there, along with other shots before, even if you don't consider the cinematic trailers.

For people talking about height/character model of Scott (and the fact that this is his thread), just a bit of info from the twitter thread:
An Eagle is a Bird firesheep111 Will I be able to change the height of Ryder?
Michael Gamble @gamblemike nope. But Sara and Scott are different heights

Leave it there all you want. The Scott picture is not the same perspective as Shepard's. Seeing as it's part of the character kit, basically where character models should be in as neutral a pose as possible, i'm pretty sure the proportions are off, angle or not, that just accentuates the effect. I just hope it gets sorted out before the game ships. also if body size proportions are off, this might imply that it doesn;t just effect ryder but all character models. Note for example cora's disproportionately large head We've seen him in game already a few times, and he's looked fine. But if you and others need something to stress over...

Body customisation was sadly not a feature in either the DA or ME trilogies, so I'm not surprised it isn't one here.
I think it's due to the difficulties of animations and clipping in all those cutscenes. Its easy in Skyrim-like games, but when the fanbase expects cutscenes and sex scenes, it's the first thing to fly out the window.

It wasn't really that long ago. I also don't think lack of height option means there's no body option.

Doesn't bode well for what I was hoping for.

I don't mind the lack for body customization as long as the women who tend to see combat aren't super model thin. It always felt weird to me when Male Shep was built like a linebacker and femshep looked like she would be weighed down by her armor and be better off on a fashion runway. One of the things I like about DA2 is that female Hawke looks like she had a bit of muscle on her.

Do you happen to have a link? Ah. I have to disagree with your opinion that the tweet was misleading, or that they were leading anyone one. They didn't even mention height in their response, only that character generation as a whole would be talked about later on.

It is not misleading. Nothing was promised or hinted at regarding that. Accept it. Move on.
OT: Scott is freaking hawt. Not changing him. His hair is life.

I wonder if the differences between Scott and Sara's dialogue is mainly tone and inflection, with only a few unique. Changes in that convey the same things but can come across differently. Like, a threatening line could be done calm and coldly by Scott, but load and angrily by Sara. It's the exact same line but delivered differently, making each twin still feel unique. If it's like that then I'm fine with differences. It may even lead to me playing a woman in Mass Effect, something I usually only do in DA. I'm thinking the same way. It will be the same thing, get the same results, but just sound different on an emotional level.

I can see a decent amount of people complaining if the twins' dialogue was too different from each other especially if it led to different outcomes. Since we can choose from varied personalities such as the one that was hovered over in the game play featuring Sara with the confusion icon, I'm thinking it'll be less about them having different personalities, since we're able to choose different types of dialogue in the first place, and more about how how they are delivered. Sara's comment in the demo "A hothead...great." can be Scott saying "So...a hothead, just what I needed." Simple tweaks like this are the most I expect from varied dialogue (aside from background specific dialogue) in this game. These kinds of things are exactly what I don't want. I want to be able to choose the tone and inflection, not be arbitrarily restricted just because of whether my Ryder is a boy or a girl.
