I just started a game with BroRyder, so I don't know if this was addressed in the game, but did you notice that his default name Scott strongly resembles the Angara's favourite cuss word "Skkut", which translates to something between fuck and shit? I wonder what the Angara think when he introduces himself...  I've noticed that too and I don't know if any of you watched it, but Fryda Wolff (female Ryder's voice) did an Andromeda stream with Mountain Dew a little while ago and the guy hosting the stream was one of the directors for the voice over sessions and he told the story of how when Tom Taylorson (male Ryder's voice) heard that swear word, it was the only time during all of his sessions where he laughed "for at least 15 minutes" because he kept repeating the word thinking it was hilarious how much it sounded like "Scott" :') |

Wasted potential if they didn't do a scene with some Angara snickering behind Scott's back. Didn't know about the stream, but his name really does sound like skkut. They could at least put an Angara named Fakk or something in the game, poor Scott.

The one thing I can't unsee about Scott is his short lower legs, and his long torso. Just switch between him and Sara in the CC. Their knees are about the same height, so he's got the lower legs of a shorter person, and everything above the knee is longer than it should be so he ends up being taller than Sara. Ugh. Been commenting on that since the earlier shots. Someone put this together....not exact but you can see the difference. Overall the model(s) are top notch, just this little peeve of mine. They ignored the "golden ratio".   Anyway, "BroRyder" all the way man!  |

Incest, furries, beasty stuff and the good old tentacle love (#hanarLIforMEA2). On the other hand Scott+Sara is still just thrown around as a joke (and it's still funny). It can be made a real thing though but then it has to be handled seriously. It worked for GoT after all. Also it would be more fitting in DA. |

I realize what I'm going to say is a bit of a random thought/comment but here goes: I just watched part of the Flophouse playthrough on Elaaden and hearing Scott saying the words "honor among thieves" while sounding so much like Nathan Drake from Uncharted was just totally eerie... Because that is something Drake would say - actually I'm pretty sure he's already said it in a game. If there's anyone here who has played the Uncharted games, you would definitely understand what I'm talking about. It's as though two of my all-time favourite video game series have suddenly collided... |

That is one reason I like Scott more than Sara. I am also fine with this small Charakter traits from Bioware they give their HCs.
I definitely want to see this scene, when SAM is trying to get Scott awake.

I like that Alec's response in the scene with Scott is to joke that Sara will make up for it by wanting to climb the tallest mountain she can find. Makes me imagine that growing up on the Citadel, while Scott was still in bed hitting the snooze alarm, Sara was up before "dawn", had already had climbed the Krogan monument and successfully evaded C-Sec.

Wish that they'd mention stuff like this in game, same with how in DAO, the Dwarf Commoner's surname (Brosca) closely resembled the Antivan curse "Braska!" Shame that Zevran never brought that up as a joke at any point, could have made for a fun conversation. Brosca: So what does it mean? Zevran: Excuse me? Brosca: My name, or that word that sounds like it in Antivan. Braska?Zevran: Oh... the closest translation would be, if you'll pardon me for saying... "Son of a bitch".Brosca: Huh, guess they've heard of my mother then. Scott and Brosca should start a club for people with unfortunate names (in another language). |
