Unless there is ridiculously awesome bonuses for pre orders, pre-ordering makes little sense.
In fact, I'm planning on waiting a couple of weeks till I buy the game to make sure the worst bugs have been fixed before I start my first playthrough.

I can't think of a reason not to. Bioware's streak of creating games I enjoy has yet to be broken.

Probably. I'd like to have it loaded up on my system so I can get my fix immediately. I probably would've spent that $60 on some other nonsense anyways, so whatevs.

Yes. I will preorder the game Sell out! Lol just had to do that because of the post right before yours. Will I preorder? Maybe depends on what we see over the next six months and reviews from sources I trust.

I think we had this topic, none the less, for me it will all depend on what they bribe me with to do so. No bribe, no preorder. Searched it before posting, didn't found it. Unless there is ridiculously awesome bonuses for pre orders, pre-ordering makes little sense. In fact, I'm planning on waiting a couple of weeks till I buy the game to make sure the worst bugs have been fixed before I start my first playthrough. Myself, I'm gonna tempt fate. I've had only two crashes in DX:MD after 2 full playthoughts (85 hours).

I will pre-order if I get the inevitable "season-pass" as a free bonus. ...That is to say, when hell freezes over. I plan to get the Season Pass as well. I'm a giver

I plan to get the Season Pass as well. I'm a giver I have a bridge to sell you, also some prime real-estate on the melting ice near the arctic... As long as you deliver...all the games I've pre-ordered in my life so far have delivered. Will you? In fact, I've had way more dissapointments with games that I didn't pre-ordered than I've had with pre-ordered games. The key is patience and to only pre-order what you know that it won't dissapoint you

I did it already. It was a deal with a gamestop seller, because I want to give back an opened FireEmblem Conquest after Day One. It's all Nintendos fault, cause of there informations chaos how I can play Conquest and Birthright. :s However, as I have come to the pre order of the next bioware game but I will not upgrade on super special fabulous fan edition.

Or maybe that I don't compulsively pre-order things

Unless there's a bonus for preordering, there is no reason to do so. It's not like Origin is going to run out of downloads if I don't act quickly.
I very rarely preorder anyway - only when there's a limited Collector's Edition to be had or when there's some sort of preorder bonus and I'm reasonably certain that I am going to enjoy the game in question.
The last games preordered were the Witcher 3 CE and Total War: Warhammer... and those did turn out to be pretty damn good.

Non of the in-game pre-order bonuses that I can remember were actually worth the gamble of buying a game before you know if it is any good. The only positive side to this is the fact that you can have refunds on Steam, but even that the 2 hour limit adds up very quickly. (especially when you have trouble getting the game to work correctly) True. Old fashioned cold reason probably has less to do with my preordering decisions than I would like to think. Especially in the case of TW:W, because its predecessor Rome 2 was released as quite the hot mess, so I reasonably should not have preordered. I was fully aware of that, I basically just had a gut feeling that told me that it would be fine. That same gut feeling told me to not buy DA2, but the reasonable thing was "it's from the studio that made DA:O, what can possibly go wrong?". Erm. So. Not preordering ME:A.

I pre-ordered ONE game in my entire life = Dragon Age: Inquisition
What a freaking disappointment, based on the marketing hype vs actual content ( I'm a magic/archer user) and expected PC controls ( I played the first two). Needless to say, never again.

I've invested so much time and been satisfied with each enough to warrant the risk.

How interesting. I liked DA2, though I'm not fond of the reusable assets and the Carta dropping from the sky. The main reasons I like it is because I could play as a melee character. That AUTO ATTACK mode really helped me. In this game I can play as a tank or as a Rogue. Otherwise, I'd be swinging at empty air, which is exactly what I do with Skyrim in First Person mode and DA:I with it's totally change PC controls... I compensate by choosing long range classes. DA:I delivered a strong lesson about buying unseen, which I've taken to heart.

Possibly. It has yet to be decided. Cue lots of ppl saying no way in hell, some others saying they will, and a few pouncing on them and calling them corporate bastards for doing so. *sigh* There are courageous people... and then there are people who do dumb shit despite a killer stare.
