Depends on what kind of a deal i can track down as i'm not normally the kind of person who pre-orders, but i did pre-order ME3 a couple of days before it shipped because i spotted a really good deal on the CE, so if i can bag that same kind of deal i'll pre-order, other wise i'll just wait till it ships as per usual.

Well for me it's simple. I know I'm gonna play the game and I know I want to play it at release. No matter what quality it be. I want to experience it myself, so yes I'm pre-ordering. I would buy it anyway. But if the game will as atrocious as Dragon Age Inquistion it will probably be my farewell to the Mass Effect series.  |

I avoid pre-ordering games unless there is plenty of non promotional material released. I know Dragon Age: Inquisition was not well received, but I did appreciate that the review embargo was released a week early so I could make an informed decision prior to launch.
So if I pre-order Mass Effect: Andromeda is purely up to EA and BioWare if they do the same thing that Bethesda is doing I won't be buying the game for awhile.

I normally don't pre-order. The only way I would is if they had a ton DLC being offered with this as well. Otherwise you can easily walk into any store and pick this game up on it's release date.
