One of my favorite threads in the ME3 section was "The Little Things" thread. There players would share all of the little details from the series. Sometimes newer players will find things that years-long vets of the game never caught. I loved reading that thread, so I'm going to restart it here.
Here's mine and it actually surprised a few people: The first time I played the ME series, I went pretty paragade with Garrus. My Shep encouraged him in ME 1 to stay with C-Sec, but let him kill Saleon. In ME2, my Shep did not want him to kill Sidonis. I got a brief comment to the effect of "What the hell, Shepard? It was okay for me to kill Saleon, but not this guy?" The quest goes on as usual from there, but I thought it was a nice touch.

I love little things like this, where the game lets you know that it's paying attention. Tali's "I got set on fire!" line from 3 if you sent her through the vents in 2 was great, it's a line most people will never hear.
The fact they let you bring Legion onto the flotilla was great, with all the reactions and dialogue that comes with it. They could have easily just barred you from taking him, just having Tali tell you it's not a good idea, so i appreciate the effort.
One from Dragon Age, trying to put your dog into the duel with Loghain...
Loved that.

When heading to Earth with ems below 2300, a reaper capital ship destroys an Alliance ship and a destroyer is seen landing on top of a Turian ship to destroy it
If ems is above 2300, an Alliance ship destroys two legs of a capital ship before it gets destroyed
When talking with Anderson at the fob, he will have 3 lines of dialogue based on ems
if ems is below 2600, he will say less than 25% of hammer made it if ems is between 2600-3399, he will say less than 40% of hammer has made it if ems is above 3400, he will say barely 50% of hammer has made it
During the beam run both squadmates will be killed if ems is below 1900. I don't know where that number came from, but when I did that I always had my ems below 1900. In my last 3 playthroughs, I decided to test that number. Its not 1900, its 2000. So if your ems is below 2000, both squadmates will be killed.
With ems that low, it will show one of the squadmates reaching out with his/her left arm before being killed. To decide who that squadmate is, its based on the number of missions he/she was taken on and/or if the player talked with them
I had Liara and James, didn't talk to either of them, it was James since I took him on the most missions I took Ashley and James, talked with Ashley and she was the one reaching out with her left arm even though James went with me on more missions. The same thing happened when I took Ashley and Liara. I didn't talk to Liara, but talked to Ashley and she is the one reaching out with her left arm On another playthrough using only Liara and edi, it was Liara reaching out with her left arm because I talked with her.
After Shepard opens the arms, Hacketts ship will be taking damage if ems is below 2000 before the crucible docks with the Citadel If ems is above 2000, Hacketts ship will not take any damage
When first encountering the cataylst, it will say 'why are you here' if ems is below 2700 It will say 'wake up' if ems is above 2700
When talking with the catalyst and Shepard chooses the bottom right dialogue while it mentions control, this dialogue will happen
S: I didn't fight this war just to give up everything I have C: And I don't look forward to being replaced by you, but...I would be forced to accept it S: Not if I refuse to do it. C: True, but you will be bound by these decisions, just like I am S: I'm not bound by anything. Not by you or these choices C: If you don't choose, you will be forced to accept our dominion. The harvest will proceed
The reason why I posted that dialogue is because I like it. Its better than the other dialogue the player gets if ems is above 2700. The dialogue only happens if ems is below 2700
If ems is above 2700, synthesis is available. 2800 is not needed
If ems is below 1750, only one ending will be available. If the base is saved in ME2, control will be the only option if ems is below 1750. The door to the Normandy opens and still have the memorial scene If the base is destroyed in ME2, destroy will be the only option. Earth is scorched. The door to the Normandy does not open suggesting everyone onboard is dead. If playing an ME3 default playthrough, the game assumes the base is destroyed leaving destroy as the only option if ems is below 1750
If ems is between 1750-2000, Big Ben is destroyed and the soldiers are not cheering. Hacketts' speech will be slightly different than higher ems If ems is above 2000, Big Ben is ok, the soldiers are cheering and Hackett has the same speech as high ems
If ems is above 2600, the relays don't explode. Below 2600, the relays explode If ems is above 2600, Joker is being very calm in the c**kpit. Below 2600, he's in panic mode If ems is above 2600, the Normandys is seen flying off the planet. Below 2600, the Normandy is stuck on the unknown planet If ems is above 2600, cutsecenes will be shown of the reapers destroyed on Thessia and Tuchanka. Below 2600, the cutscenes are not seen
I have posted that Anderson gives 200 war assets if 'saved' and takes away 100 war assets if TIM kills him. I never tested those numbers on low ems. This time I did and it changes nothing. It only effects if your ems is at 2900 or higher. So if the player heads to Earth with 2900 ems and TIM doesn't shoot Anderson, the player will get the breath scene if destroy is chosen. If the player has TIM shoot Anderson having ems at 2900, the breath scene will not happen if destroy is chosen. The numbers make no difference if ems is at 3200 or higher when heading to Earth. Whenever I want to get the breath scene, I make sure to have my ems at 3200 or higher when heading to Earth just in case I decide I want TIM to shoot Anderson

I started a default character to see what level I would finish at by doing completing the least
The highest level I got by doing the least amount was level 29. I did Earth, Mars, Manae, Sur'Kesh, Rachni, genophage, coup, dreadnought, Koris, reaper base, Thessia, Horizon, Chronos and Earth. I did end up getting the breath scene
my paragon/renegade/reputation levels were so low that I couldn't
convince Steve to take a break convince Mordin to sabotage the genophage rescue Koris get the paragon or renegade dialogue when facing Henry Lawson convince Tactus to give me his medical supplies have TIM shoot himself I was surprised I got the paragon and renegade dialogue when facing Kaidan
Just before shooting the tube, I looked at my paragon/renegade/reputation and had less than 2 bars filled
The times I've done an ME3 default playthrough, I noticed that during the destroy epilogue when Hackett mentions the ones that were lost, it shows Thane. I don't know if he's seen in the other endings, but if I was a new player I would be wondering who the character is and why is he being shown. His name is on the wall, but never mentioned at all.

Well, if we are to speak about little things. At one point I wanted an fantasy rpg because I felt like playing one and the only ones I had were Spellforce 1 and 2. So when it came the time to pick one I remembered, if I buy DA:O I get the Blood Dragon Armor for ME2 and I love the design of that armor...and so I bought DA:O. So, yeah, the only reason I played and then became a fan of DA is because of the armor featured in my avatar.
Storywise? I loved that in Miranda's loyalty mission she gets made fun of her outfit (even more if you bring Jack. Why wouldn't you? Extra drama).

If Garrus is not in ME3, Samantha gets an extra scene If Garrus isn't in ME3 and Tali is onboard, both will have dialogue after Thessia Once you gain control of Shepard, after the Thessia mission, go to deck 3 and talk with Tali, who is standing by the memorial wall, and she will mention Thessia and Shepard mentions he/she has doubts about the Crucible. After talking with her I went down to deck 4 and saw Javik and Liara. After that I went back to deck 3 and got this dialogue between Traynor and Tali over the intercom Tali: She went straight to her cabin. She's not answering her comms. Traynor: Do you think its bad? Tali: I've never seen Liara like this. Not even after Noveria. Traynor: What do you think we should do? Tali: Can you talk to her? You're from Earth. You know how's she's feeling. Traynor: My world is occupied. Hers is being destroyed. Besides, you know her better than I do. Tali: I just regained my homeworld. She just lost hers Traynor: You just have to let her grieve in her own way... unless you want to give her a call.

Wrex can survive ME3 even if the genophage has been sabotaged credit goes to Professor X. now using the username teh DRUMPF!!
Before seeing the asari councilor, I had 330 Krogan war assets. After talking with the councilor, I made a save and then went to dock 24 where I encountered Wrex and killed him. Once on the ship, I checked my war assets and lost all war assets from the Krogan leaving me with zero. I reloaded the save, went to Citadel transit terminal to visit Dr. Bryson. Once done, I headed back to the Normandy without encountering Wrex.
I went and did the Thessia mission. Went back to the Citadel, made a save and went to dock 24 where I encountered Wrex. I reloaded and went to Dr. Bryson's office for a few seconds and then went back to the Normandy avoiding Wrex. The same thing happened after finishing Sanctuary. Just before attacking Chronos, I still had Krogan war assets
After finishing Chronos, I checked my war assets and still had my 330 Krogan assets.
At the fob, I talked with Primarch Victus. He was upset that Wrex pulled his Krogan leading to many turian civilians dying. He even mentioned the bomb going boom on Tuchanka
I saw Wrex giving a speech to a platoon of Krogan. I talked with him. He mentioned the bomb on Tuchanka. You can hear the anger in his voice. He never mentioned anything about the genophage.
After choosing destroy, Wrex is not seen in any of the slides. He might in the other endings, I don't know.
What I like about this is that you can save Maleon's data in ME2, do the bomb mission and sabotage the cure with Wrex without loosing Krogan war assets at all while still getting Salarian support.

Going to copy some of my posts. Mars. After entering cafeteria, there are 4 Assault Troopers behind the glass. If you wait for them to end talking, two will leave. Never picked "I agree" option while talking with Javik for the first time with character more on paragon side. Color me surprised when I found out Javik believes or doesn't believe you depending on your alignment. Depending on Pre-Service History - Shepard's Citadel Archives record has different background. Spacer: Colonist: Ruthless: If you drive by Exo-Geni refugees and don't stop, you can hear Juliana Baynham comment about that. If you turn back after that, there's another line: "They're coming right for us. Damn it! Is this comm unshielded? Son of a b--" With following squadmate's comment. And I think my favourite (simply because it sent me into fit of laughter): For some reasons decided to finally listen to Eclipse mercs talking during Thane's loyalty mission. Eclipse Trooper: Fine... But I... *a moment later*

I just recruited Garrus, and for the first time I decided to let him die during the mission. I took my time closing the shutters while he was taking damage. After about 30 minutes, his health was still at the same level, I decided to close the last shutter. I let Garm go after Garrus. I killed all the others and watched Garrus and Garm fight. Eventually Garrus was killed. What I found surprising is that Garm and Garrus were at close range that Garrus kept using his sniper rifle. I figured he would've switched to an assault rifle or pistol

-You cannot romance Garrus in ME2 if you import a Shepard that refused to let him join the team. -Tali will mention catching on fire if you had sent her through the vents in the ME2 suicide mission -if you don't let Grunt out of the tank, keep Legion but don't reactivate him, you won't hear from them again. -if you don't speak with Thane at Huerta Memorial hospital before the Cerberus coup, he'll disappear without any trace or mention

I really enjoyed that in the first Mass Effect game, the red-shirt that comes with you on the first mission, who runs out of cover and gets shot right away, is named Richard L. Jenkins. "L." as in Leeroy! He's Leeroy Jenkins! I found that to be hilarious.

The memorial wall holds 50 names. You can have 51 names and still get the breath scene. I had both columns filled(48) and Anderson in the middle(49) with both Zaeed and Kasumi dead and their names couldn't fit on the wall(51).
You can have a total of 54 names. I had James and Liara die on the beam run which led to Shepard dying giving a total of 54.

7 squadmates can be recruited after the suicide mission. Not all at once of course since you need at least 8 to go through the relay.
Grunt(open tank after the suicide mission), Samara, Tali, Thane, Kasumi, Zaeed, and Legion(activated after the suicide mission)

If you do a playthrough with T'soni, Vega and edi only and take James and Liara on the beam run, no one will tell Joker to leave if you pick destroy. All he will do is turn his head and say damn. Samantha will still be there standing behind Joker When you encounter Wrex on the Citadel, he will activate his omnitool with the dialogue from the Dalatross in sabotaging the cure. When Shepard says, "if I sabotage the cure" her mouth moves in sync with the audio from the omnitool here's the video with femshep here's with maleshep. Its not as noticeable as with femshep
