Haha, I can't not pick Sloane. (Besides quick scrolling through to see the outcome, of course. Then, right back to saving her it is.) Though pick is such a hard word. Luckily the scene can be interpreted differently from just picking between the two characters. If there was really a fair and square fight between them, it'd be the faction choice of New Vegas for me all over again. *Error. No outcome applicable. Story stuck. Please find a solution that's not utterly ridiculous. Note: your last solution was actually utterly ridiculous in a way that's not acceptable in any possible universe, please try again*
Aww, thanks. Don't know if that will happen though, I never really tried to write any fiction in English. However, some talks are more inspiring than others. And I've had this urge to write something lately. Something relatively easy. Funny homework indeed.
 Yep, he does. But I think the guy version of the e-mail doesn't have the exact same wording. Which is fine, because hell of a woman sounds more badass (And the existence of that note itself is pretty great. Later, when she does not longer consider it his last and ultimate mockery, even Ryder grins at it)
That's the spirit. Plus bonus points for taking Reyes' viewpoint. I never have the guts. Looking forward to the ball stuff.

I don't find either choice totally inelegible so I'm able to choose both. Admittedly, Sloane is my less liked alternative and will likely only live once.

The mail version for male Ryder is "I've never known a man like you" which sounds more subdued. For me the email shows he really cared about Ryder in a special way and still respects them. It's interesting he doesn't try to explain himself nor hints at a future attempt to take over as in the non-romance version. It's so much shorter. His other mails are sprinkled with romance stuff, and the one after Zia is additional but contentwise they are the same. The last one is different in that regard, it's only about the two of them. Also, non-romanced and shot sounds angrier. While in the romance version he is kinda glad he will have a memento in the form of a scar and it's devoid of the accusation "you showed your true colours". He is surprised of the shot but says it differently. Something I have mentioned before, romance and not shot, he says goodbye. He doesn't say/write that in other instances, it's always a variant of see you later or nothing at all.




I enjoy them as well. The social stealth: why yes, I totally belong here ^^. Sneaking around in broad sight.

Makes one wonder why, doesn't it? Especially since all the other e-mails are like "Back in a minute". Surely he won't crawl into some dark corner just because of the romance so why say goodbye in this particular case? Weird... (Counting out the option that it's a metagame indicator saying "romance discontinued". It just wouldn't do it.)

PS. Replaying the scene with the Roekar and damn is my nerdy Ryder into Reyes... Liam told her to keep it in her pants and got scared when she gave him /the look. XD 

Haha wow, before I played the game I was just looking up the possible romance options because I like at least having an idea of who I'd possibly gun for (ayyyy) since I'm too awkward of a person in real life to flirt with multiple fictional people at once because like what if these pixels who don't have feelings whatsoever think I'm a sleazeball. I can't handle that possibility. The knowledge that such a thing might happen haunts me.

Anyways I honestly didn't really see the draw.

But then I played and I met him and it was just like o... I see... yes I can see the draw. I didn't end up locking in a romance with him but he does hold the achievement of being the one single character out of all the LIs spread across every DA/ME game I've played that that I couldn't resist flirting with even though I had my heart set on someone else 8'). The early flirts especially were just too tempting, trying to weasel a drink out of the guy hahaha. Ended up hitting the flirt option twice, but then all of my companions were like WOW U TWO SURE ARE DATING during the Roekkar quest and I was like oh no I must stop this shenanigans. What if Vetra won't accept me for who I am please forgive me Vetra I didn't mean it. It's not you it's the alcoholism. I just wanted that drink. Please take me back.

I really do want to see his romance play out at some point though. In a future playthrough, perhaps. The guy's just... really charming...... The wink........

Heell, no. That would be just.. no. I really don't see it working in any way. He'd make a better ship with the Archon. (Actually, hmm, the delusioned, obsessed alien commander trying to convince himself that the dashing alien is not even good for exaltation... shit I need to stop this now or it ends up being a part of the random shit I sometimes write for the laughs).  Besides, it would really put Cora in terrible danger, bigger than any of that Archon and purification field business. She might wake up spaced one day and nobody wants that. The canon will be respected and all that.

LOL I don't know why, but I enjoy the AU stuff, I was thisclose to doing an AU where Cora is the Pathfinder, although I couldn't find anything worth while to explore in that instance... I feel like she wouldn't really do anything 100% out of left field or anything. AU's and what if's seem to be crazy fun for me. Especially when they help me avoid doing work I don't want to do... LOL

Crap I got Kaetus confused with another Turian. I meant Kandros... Womp womp (I even wrote a fan fiction about Kaetus and I confuse him for someone else... WTF!)
