(Btw I really loved those screens. I think they steered me towards the 3rd playthrough which is starting shortly... Looks like Sloane's coming hard on to Ryder instead of calling him a dog though. Guess she had to be buried alive to cool down a bit )

Definitely. I'm having too much fun with the cinematic tools not to post anything. But it's a NG+ and I'm kind of a canon person, so it's my dear hardass vanguard all over again. I've lined the character up quite nicely and now I can finally get to enjoying it, adding bits and pieces of history and all that. (Right now I'm wondering at how she get angrier and snappier with Liam and Cora with every PT (before Eos, that is)... Alec dying the way he does is just too much of a crippling blow, I guess). That's the common procedure with me, I tend to fuss way too much about my characters and then I get overly fond of them and it feels off playing with anyone else, not to mention a part of me finds creating two versions of the same story too much of a strain. (Ive had a pretty well developed qunari Vashoth mage side canon in DAI, but that's where something like that is possible. Ryder is always Ryder, no such possibilities there.
Wow, what an amazing shot. You put it there on purpose, didn't you? In a low, unworthy, wily attempt to make me break the characterization I've spent two playthroughs building to perfection, right? The worst thing about it is that it's definitely working. Hmm, if I put High noon after the Salarian ark and perhaps the Angaran maps quest, or even Cora's LM, it might even be remotely justifiable. (It wouldn't be the first time I'm attempting a mind bending magic stunt like that, I have two totally in-character scenarios for Shepard picking either Samara or Morinth). Huh, the possibilities... also, Ryder could be spared one colossal hangover and a bunch of raider scum could go on with their merry worthless lives a bit longer, yaaay
Also, I made a rather nice screen of Kadara when trying what a reshade preset can do, so I'll put it here to make up for all the irrelevant ranting

The voiceover .  And he's looking pretty much like himself, no weird expression like in the other swapped scenes sometimes.

I got into somewhat similar groove in the OT, except for different fem- and manSheps. That didn’t work in MEA, alas. My Sara never got farther than Habitat 7. She’s a good VA and worked great as the sister, but I can’t just feel like playing with her. One of the many disadvantages of voiced protagonists.

Better just go there and see what feels right in the moment. I've tried forcing myself to take routes that I didn't really want before, and there's not really much point to that. If you spare talking with Sloane until right before High Noon kicks in, you might feel more inclined to let her eat dirt, though.

I’d be tempted to try a Ryder that saves Sloane if there were a chance of meeting Reyes again (sequel, dlc) and seeing the consequences, but as things are now…

Love the pic! Maybe that's the color of Kadara sunset (or would it be dawn?). The market place at the Kadara Port is also great for playing with ReShade.

Nice, that’s really well done.

I don’t think a public spectacle would fit Reyes and his secretive, discreet ways, however. (Actually having a huge attentive audience like that for a relationship scene just feels awkward to me regardless.) I really like his winking at Ryder and slinking away from the spotlight, even if it was less because it fits the character and more because he’s a lesser romance.

More content at the party afterwards would’ve been a must however.

 Having completed the Reyes part of the game, I’m not sure how well my interest will keep up either. I do want some of those Meridian screenshots tho. My previous Ryder, who was sort of uggo, looked great there, somehow. Currently I’m wondering if it’s worth the effort to mod Kotor2 (I’m one of the few that are perfectly fine with the shipped game and don’t care for adding the HK factory or whatever via a mod).

I love Reyes' expressions in that scene.

I don’t even know, I don’t have Photoshop anymore, so I’m trying to learn to do lightning effects in Gimp, but it’s not going well. Reyes got victimized because of his love for arm gesturing.

I was about to jokingly complain about how he was hidden in the corner, but...you know, I guess that's really appropriate for him.

You could check the custom Ryder thread here or shareyourryders subreddit and get their code. Once you’ve found a character with a good facial structure, you could use that as a base for creating your unique Ryder. If you haven’t touched the CC after 1.08, that made a huge difference. Personally I’m using mods with my latest guy.

Even better now that I fixed it a bit. I had to immortalize my favorite Reyes expression in the game somehow. (Or maybe second favorite, after all the famous wink is what got most of us in the first place. )

With the shop, just Reyes and his gesticulation. I saw that screencap and thought there ought to be a kitty on his lap. Should’ve gone for one of the Andromeda animals so that it wouldn’t look off, probably. :/

I'm so sorry- I promised the fic would be out soon, but work started needing me more and my personal life took a swan dive.... Which was a little less than ideal.

But everything is fine now and the fic should be out late tomorrow or early the day after!

Heh, I had one mShep. It was... not good. But nowhere near as bad as the freak of nature of a Scott I've just witnessed. Ok, before he wakes up I'm giving in and doing some search.

As I said, too much wtf going on, and I don't generally pay that much attention to faces, real or fictional. Wonder if that's the point when he actually starts considering it or whether he just strolled into Kralla's song with some possibilities like that in mind, however theoretical. Being cryptic seems like his hobby, though. I noticed he never even confirms Ryder's assertions about his smuggler job (makes all that "you lied to me" stuff fall a bit flat imo).

Now that you say it, it's a bit unexpected. One would say cats would be more his style. _{As a confirmed dog person, I'm far from complaining though} But after your photohop it comes clear that he should also consider being a rabbit person. He might try the Andromeda wildlife but I don't think those animals are quite there yet, in addition to not being cuddly. The only thing he could do with them is a shady guy with an enraged charyllion running all around his cozy little corner of the bar, trying to keep it in to prevent a breach of his shadiness and a bloodbath thing

What a shame you missed the wink, they even only showed him in that scene ^^.
Well, he doesn't say yes, I'm a smuggler in that moment, but everybody knows he is one (among other secret things) anyway and "providing information among other things" is a paraphrase for it, imo. And he takes Ryder on the Zia mission which is about his smuggling business.
He also makes this face which you could read as confirmation or just as let's talk over there.

Yes, I got that too when I checked the dancing stuff. If you talk to Reyes or enough other people or load a save it goes away. Only happens with the "everybody has secrets" dialogue to me, but then 100% of the time.

Well, his writer's word is the most canon we can get right now.
