Reyes Vidal - No longer A Mystery (Official Thread)

Ah I see! Thank you! I could see the baldness for a split second, but then I watched it in full screen mode and saw some weirdness at the top of the head and was like "hmmm" 

I do hope we see more of Reyes soon! I really do, hopefully the devs take pity on us with all of our speculations and theories and throws us a bone haha! 

I really hope that as the release date nears they do something like Christine Larkin's Peebee video except with Reyes. Would love to hear about Reyes from Boulton especially more about him working with the accent. That might be a while though, I think that they will do a lot of the main characters and squad mates like Cora and Liam before even thinking about a potential advisor or NPC character like Reyes.

Lol, called it. That voice just did not fit his face at all.

And the chances of my wild speculation of Reyes being a Quarian have slightly increased.

Although I am expecting and anticipating Reyes to be a human, I am on board with him being a Quarian. Kaal'Reegar has legitimately ruined my life with his 10 minutes of screen time in Tali's mission.

If the Quarians have gotten the axe for this installment of Andromeda, I would love for them to make a really bombastic entrance at some point. I had a really (wrong) but wild theory that Jonah was going to be in Andromeda. You know the Quarian that lost his mom in ME2 and his dad in ME3. I'd love for him to somehow show up in the future because he'd probably be vastly different from Tali in a cool way. Like a Fenris x Garrus type of a character. A little broody and sarcastic with a wicked aim and a chip on his shoulder. 

I see no reason to expect Reyes as a Quarian. As others have already said: It' a common spanish name. I think he turns out to be the guy from the leaked info...I think he's our gay NPC crew member and not really story relevant...well, but at least he's not that ugly human NPC from the latest trailer.

Bioware has this thing where they create such dashing, interesting minor characters and then doesn't let you talk to them for more than a few minutes. I mean, besides Reegar, there was Nilus, Lorik Qui'in, Captain Kirrahe, etc. Back in DAO Cullen wound up with such a large following that he even got a major role in DAI, despite barely appearing in one background and one quest.

As much as I would love a Quarian LI, I agree with you. His voice in the video doesn't sound like a Quarian. Not talking accent-wise, I mean it didn't sound like he had that helmet on.
