Maybe they could have made him look not so fine when you visit him right after. He doesn't even limp. Perhaps this exoskeleton is so tough that they don't have visible injuries from beatings. Truth. Maybe they thought most people won’t go to see Kaetus afterwards, so they didn't bother. He could at least hold his side like other injured/scared people in the game do. Then again Reyes keeps the Collective's violence hidden from public view. Maybe Kaetus was hit where it doesn’t show, on his stomach, genitals, legs, all covered up under clothing so people won’t be shocked and driven to sympathize upon seeing him. Another possibility: Reyes seems to consider Kaetus a potential recruit, so he may have had Nakatomo patch him up well and good, and he’s already on his way to recovery. Maybe his wounds looked and felt really bad while actually being superficial, but because idiot-queen Sloane fired her only good doctor, nobody could tell. Meh, just throwing ideas around. Time is sort of abstract in MEA anyway; I never know how much time is supposed to have passed, e.g. with the insta-outposts. If you immediately quick-travel from the High Noon cave straight to the Port, the coup has already happened and everyone has settled into the new way of life. I was bored enough to play with deepart today and remembered using Avina’s template for my buddy's kitten way back when. I thought I'd try making a better hologram for Reyes with the same method. Well, it was not a success. (Use a photo of a person or an animal for a workable result.) But I will show the results regardless, since I took the effort. From “it should be something like this except good” to "weird": However I sort of liked this version I made without Mass Effect effect sources:

Disclaimer: I fucking hate this netbook. I hate it so much I’d shoot it in the back in a duel . give me a minute to get my post in working order. Whoa, such a party and I missed all that The chill thread lives. (Watch me kill the thread with that comment.) Hail from the seaside, chillest of threads, and lets try to keep alive for as long as it takes! I like the character, which surprised me since I think the writing and design for the Angara on the whole is sub-par. But I don’t think Jaal is even intended to be dashing. If he were, I can’t see it. I can’t lie tho, I’ve become slightly bitter over the first-comers Reyes and Gil being thrown into a ditch in favor of perfecting every little detail in ~Jaal’s precious romance~. Well, he’s sort of in that role, lots of people see him like that... But I don’t think it was a tradeoff in any way, just some characters getting more spotlight than others. A bad decision all in all, but what can we do.... but yep, the amount of preference Jaal gets puts Liara to shame... and that’s saying something And I had one again... and seriously anything else would be blasphemy-like right now. I adore my signature character. I don’t really have archetypes, but I have most of the characters connected somehow, if even through a nonsensical dreamy conversation with a sometimes weird talking person appearing out of nowhere (guess what, the courier strikes), with a few common features or callbacks to one another; Hmm, not sure if Boone’s worst problem with drug pushing would the the law, but whatever, as I said the Courier ain’t Sloane, and doesn’t even want to rule anything but herself, but she sure as hell won’t let any bunch of idiots rake their claws into the glorious mess that is Vegas... she just hopes she can hold it together by calling in all those favors she is owed, watching over stuff from the position of "House’s agent" who occasionally takes odd jobs. and through that huge-ass robot army, of course. Muhehehe to making you feel sorry for Sloane That’s an astute observation. Sloane knows that it’s the man in front of him that had Kaetus beaten into pulp. Acting tough is something she’s been doing for a long time, so she manages keeps it together even as she is getting angrier and angrier. Even so, it must be hard to stay as calm as she is, especially considering how smug Reyes is. In that light, accepting Reyes’ offer is surprisingly self-possessed of her – but not enough as to know that it’s an obvious trap. She could just have rushed him, without pausing to think how Ryder would react. It could even be that Reyes’ primary expectation was for Sloane to just blindly attack in rage, and the duel reserved only for if that didn't happen. The sniper sure as hell must have been instructed for such a possibility. And Ryder would’ve just been like ‘welp, that’s that I guess’, regardless of personal opinions. ]I think the upcoming choice is the only thing holding her together, tbh. She just doesn’t seem the type at all. But on the other hand, there might have been a kind of choice just as well if she rushed him, the even worse and messy kind... hell, it just happened to strike me how different all that would be... Also, it makes me wonder whether Reyes had the sniper thing really planned all along or just improvised when Ryder showed up.. or if Sloane didn’t rush him. Btw in the Courier’s case it wouldn’t be rushing, it would be shooting in cold blood, mid sentence. Just needed to make that distinction for no reason. Garrus wine? Enlighten me, I wasn't around for that Oh there’s a celebrated French rosé that’s called Garrus. The insanely adoring reviews for the wine were funny like – lemme search for an example – “The Garrus we all admired, fondled, and eventually had the divine pleasure of tasting was from the 2012 vintage. It was, like the 2011 Garrus I first tasted a couple of years ago, bedazzling.” It was funny. Somebody needs to make a whisky called Reyes... (And a good one, too, so that reviews are praising and not "I drank this and woke up a week later naked and bruised in a car's boot at a deserted quarry." ) Awww, that's just brilliant, thanks for enlightening me. Now it's sure what it was Garrus brought into Shepard's cabin that night Hmm, is there nothing with that name yet? It's not so uncommon... But perhaps something matching your description would be the best fit anyway BloodOfShiagur I butchered the name- It's INTJ (oops) it's Myers Briggs's personality quiz. INTJ's are strategic planners. The website I found that went more in depth legitimately has this to say: "White lies and small talk are hard enough as it is for a type that craves truth and depth, but INTJs may go so far as to see many social conventions as downright stupid. Ironically, it is often best for them to remain where they are comfortable – out of the spotlight – where the natural confidence prevalent in INTJs as they work with the familiar can serve as its own beacon, attracting people, romantically or otherwise, of similar temperament and interests." Like holy fuck, hellooo, Reyes! XD Edit: Here's the link! https://www.16personalities.com/intj-personality Mine is INFP-T I suspected as much.. but then it seemed too much to hope for that people here would know even that.... Btw, INFP? Ha, I was right about you But nope, I'm almost hundred percent sure he's not INTJ... being pretty much INTJ myself, I find him way much of a drama queen for that, all talk, show-off and outward gesturing... not to mention the endless lying capabilities... Which are architect managers, Zitrus ? I only know the types by letters and not all those differing titles. ENTJ? I hesitated for a long time in Reyes' case and then went for ENTP...seems closest for the kind of jerk he is... I swear I never found him anywhere and I tried looking several times... As for time, well, it’s the classical BW time. The headcanon to the rescue time Good job on those pics. Reyes looks like the Illusive man in the lower left corner, lol.

Where the hell is Kaetus to be found post High-noon? I swear I never found him anywhere and I tried looking several times... He's in the cell in the old Outcast base where Vehn Terev was being held. He's... pretty angry with Ryder right after High Noon. But if you speak with him, it opens dialog with Reyes in which you can either encourage him to have patience with Kaetus or to execute him.

Slightly off-topic stuff in spoilers: But I don’t think it was a tradeoff in any way, just some characters getting more spotlight than others. A bad decision all in all, but what can we do.... but yep, the amount of preference Jaal gets puts Liara to shame... and that’s saying something I meant specifically the after-launch decisions made in regard to the gay romance content. In general, some LIs getting more content than others is to be expected and I don't mind or care about Jaal being the n:o 1 MEA romance. Just rubs me wrong that those that were there first are shoved aside, with the extant problems ignored. As for "but what can we do" - nothing, it's done and over, I'm merely answering your question. (Hopefully that's not too snappy, I'm just tired of discussing it.) I meant your Ryder, not Sloane. I can't feel sorry for Sloane, not even for Kaetus's sake, which is the most humanizing angle to her. Also, it makes me wonder whether Reyes had the sniper thing really planned all along or just improvised when Ryder showed up.. or if Sloane didn’t rush him. The sniper must have had very precise instructions and positioning, too many things could go wrong otherwise. If the sniper just improvised shooting Sloane, the choice wouldn't even been Reyes'. Also it would make Reyes an unprepared idiot. Reyes coming up with the duel on the spot wouldn't gel either with the sniper already being in place and knowing what to do, though I guess I'm just rehashing what I said the last time this theory came up. No, the duel was absolutely planned with care. Being prepared for other possibilities, such as Sloane just attacking or her not even coming at all, is just something Reyes must also have done. Awww, that's just brilliant, thanks for enlightening me. Now it's sure what it was Garrus brought into Shepard's cabin that night Hmm, is there nothing with that name yet? It's not so uncommon... But perhaps something matching your description would be the best fit anyway I'm pretty sure there are various wines with the word "reyes" in the title, so I guess that's as close as it gets. Lol at imagining some brewer naming their product Reyes and then checking for results on google. Although I guess Reyes is so common that our Reyes might not come up at all. Where the hell is Kaetus to be found post High-noon? I swear I never found him anywhere and I tried looking several times... You're saying he's not in Sloane's throne room if you side with her? Weird, you'd think Ryder would get a chance to chat up the friendliest Outcast. I guess then the intention is that he's recovering somewhere. Maybe Sloane has him in her private chamber, being pampered to. Good job on those pics. Reyes looks like the Illusive man in the lower left corner, lol. Thanks. edit: why do I always get new page snipes for my shittiest posts? :srs:

Disclaimer: I fucking hate this netbook. I hate it so much I’d shoot it in the back in a duel . give me a minute to get my post in working order. Oh, Reyes' influence is at work here. Have fun in the sun. Not really. Yesterday I found a video in which a Whiskey Business Cocktail with Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur is made. For the times you want some Reyes in your whiskey. They call the INTJ architect there and explain how people are in the job, in friendships and so on. My quote is from the part when they are managers at the workplace. There's always something that fits and something that doesn't. Truth. Maybe they thought most people won’t go to see Kaetus afterwards, so they didn't bother. Yes, guess he's still recovering and the wounds are just not so visible. In the other ending he's still on bedrest but doesn't like it. I wish they would give some mention of the passed time now and then.

Correct. You can ask Sloane how Kaetus is doing, and she says he is recovering and that once he is better he will be leading the hunt for Reyes himself. I’d be interested in seeing Kaetus vs. Reyes showdown. Not really. Yesterday I found a video in which a Whiskey Business Cocktail with Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur is made. For the times you want some Reyes in your whiskey. I’ll rather first have Reyes, then the whiskey, separately. :heh: So, Ancho Reyes? Let’s see if this works. “A smoky, heated celebración of the radical, the romantico, the independiente inside us all”. Hmh, it’s not really the same... There’s this faaaintly suitable picture tho: The sniper must have had very precise instructions and positioning, too many things could go wrong otherwise. You saying nothing unexpected ever happens in Reyes' presence (like a Pathfinder or the Spanish inquisition coming when nobody expects them?) . Reyes not expecting Ryder isn’t remotely the same thing, though? Sloane’s been nothing but disdainful and threatening to Ryder, even during the Kett removal mission, so I can’t blame Reyes for not expecting Sloane to put her trust in them. Furthermore, it takes SAM correctly analyzing a glint seen by pure chance for the possible Ryder-warning-Sloane event chain to occur the way it did in the game. I mean, call Reyes an idiot for that if you want, but I see those things in altogether different ballpark. It would make Reyes an unprepared idiot if he: (a) invited Sloane over without any plan at all ( challenged Sloane to the duel out of a moment’s spur (possibly only because Ryder is there, because of ???) (c) instead of a carefully vetted sniper with clear instructions, just brought some dude to act on his own whims, who is undisciplined enough to shoot at Sloane without advance planning, taking a risk of killing his boss since he might unwittingly move in the bullet’s path The entire point of the scene is that it’s been carefully planned for a long time; Reyes obviously only has select few elite operatives with him, exactly so that he’d have complete control of what transpires. Ryder’s presence is the only thing unaccounted for, and subsequently the only thing that can ruin Reyes’ plan. Everything in the dialogue and the narrative supports the duel being prearranged (“death by thousand cuts”, the entire dichotomy between the elusive Charlatan and his pragmatic, secretive Collective and hotheaded Sloane and her brash, bloodfeudy Outcasts).

I’d be interested in seeing Kaetus vs. Reyes showdown. Yeah, it'd be interesting if they ever did that in a DLC similar to Omega, where the side you didn't support during the main game are the bad guys or join the bad guys. Who do you think the other temporary squadmate would be if you side with Reyes? The Sloane side is easy since it would be Sloane and Kaetus. My guess is Crux, since she is one of Reyes' top lieutenants and like Kaetus she can't die in the events of the game. Plus that way both sides have a male and female squadmate.

I'm for a badass version of Keema. That way we get an alien on the team. ETA: Anyone here play multi-player? She could be kitted out like the angara avenger (with stealth grid, sticky grenade, and avenger strike), and it would be perfect.

Crux is a good possibility and I'd like her, but I wonder if they'd go for Keema. We haven't had a female Angaran squadmate yet. Crux would be more fitting, since Keema doesn't seem like a fighter, but it's a possibility. She could always be sneaky Kasumi-style. A problem with Crux is that she doesn't know the Charlatan personally (unless she lied to Ryder), at least not yet. I'd like someone who knows Reyes well and who could tell us more about him, someone he knew already on the Nexus or even before the journey. My ideal scenario would be one squaddie from Ryder's own team (I'd pick Vetra or Drack) and then either Reyes or Kaetus according to your High Noon choice. Not as feasible, I know, since it would require all the VAs, but a man can dream... In that case I'd still like to meet inner circle members of the Collective and learn more of their operations and day to day life, at some hub. edit: ninjaed again, I'm too slow for these forums these days...

Maybe Mr Sniper Guy. He has no personality yet but that can be remedied and he already knows the secret. Reyes trusts him a lot apparently. A bit like the triple-sec, whatever the fuck that is, I usually avoid it because it sounds as if three C-sec agents got mixed into the drink... and you know, one of them might have been Garrus I have no clue but I like to look up stuff^^. Triple sec, originally Curaçao triple sec, is a variety of Curaçao liqueur, an orange-flavoured liqueur made from the dried peels of bitter and/or sweet oranges. Triple sec may be consumed neat as a digestif or on the rocks, but it is more often used as an ingredient in a variety of cocktails, such as sangria, margarita, Kamikaze, White Lady, Long Island Iced Tea, Sidecar, Skittle Bomb, Corpse Reviver #2 and Cosmopolitan. So, Ancho Reyes? Let’s see if this works. “A smoky, heated celebración of the radical, the romantico, the independiente inside us all”. Hmh, it’s not really the same... There’s this faaaintly suitable picture tho: Drinking with the devil. The colour is pretty good: Deep bronze hue. ETA: Anyone here play multi-player? She could be kitted out like the angara avenger (with stealth grid, sticky grenade, and avenger strike), and it would be perfect. Only two games and both were lost. Haven't tried it again since.

Only two games and both were lost. Haven't tried it again since. I'm not enjoying it anywhere near what I did ME3 MP, but I try to pop on and do a bronze and silver apex mission each day. That will probably stop when I reach the end of my current single player playthrough. Just finished with the architect on Elaaden, but my kids are gone for the week, so I may blow through the rest at a quicker pace than I've been holding to so far. The angara avenger uses a knife for melee, and she's pretty tough and stealthy. It's how I'd imagine Keema would fight. I'd like to see her with a pistol or a shotgun, something close-range so she wouldn't feel too much like Jaal in combat. And, you know, possibly fighting with a cigar in her mouth, too. edit: ninjaed again, I'm too slow for these forums these days... I love that we had the same idea, though. I could tell after I'd posted that your post was typed at the same time, yours just had more thought put into it.

Correct. You can ask Sloane how Kaetus is doing, and she says he is recovering and that once he is better he will be leading the hunt for Reyes himself. I’d be interested in seeing Kaetus vs. Reyes showdown. Huh, the tension alone would be murderous Reyes not expecting Ryder isn’t remotely the same thing, though? No argument there. I’m not really calling anybody an idiot or even hinting at the duel situation in particular, just making Ryder a (very inconsequential) example of stuff that you simply don’t expect even when your planning has no fault to be found otherwise. I’d be interested in how something possibly more intrusive would be handled (in short, I’m uselessly theorizing once more as masterplans like this always make me suspicious, there is always something you might have forgotten.. or something you couldn’t have expected unless you happen to be in possession of a crystal ball) I may as be getting too lazy to quote it all, so good find with the pic... The devil’s a slightly less attractive than Reyes, though (unless he’s hidden behind the mask and all of it suggests something) Maybe Mr Sniper Guy. Yay for mr. Sniper guy (no, I’m absolutely not way too partial on snipers), but Crux or Keema seem more likely, sadly. Even though when tehprincessj mentioned the cigar, I was reminded of Integra Hellsing who is more of the ordering people around type, and not sure if it’s the cigar or the attitude but Keema doesn’t seem like much of a fighter herself.(Unless she is being very deceitful, that is). So I’d go with Crux, forfeiting the alien possibilities, she seemed capable plus I’d like her. Or some new, still unknown Collective member who might be whatever race-wise, plus no VA would have to return for it and that might be convenient Lol, thanks for looking it up. They keep the secret ingredient, well, a secret, apparently

The Sniper Guy would be awesome. Reyes doesn’t trust easily and I want to meet someone who’s up to those high standards. They’d need to fix his hair line situation, though: Unfortunately I'm not sure another human guy that doesn’t even have any showy gimmick going on would cut it. They’d want something flashier, and probably a woman for balance. Reyes probably isn’t biotic, so they might have one of those. Crux could fit that bill, although I’d like to see a biotic Salarian. That’d be a new one. As for multiplayer, I couldn’t get into MEA mp. I actually played a couple ME3 mp gold/plat matches a while back and it still felt way more fun (and no lack of players, either). I’d try MEA mp again, but by now everybody else is good at it and I’d be embarrassed and shamed. Much like in ME3, playing sp on insanity doesn’t prepare you even for bronze. I love that we had the same idea, though. Cheers to shared good opinions. I’d be interested in how something possibly more intrusive would be handled That could happen in our theorized Kaetus vs Reyes scenario. If Reyes is in unfavorable position, he'll smartly make a run for it. That would mean a situation where he’s back against the wall, and that would turn ugly. Reyes would absolutely fight dirty – I bet it would be a great sight (let’s imagine they got new animators, lol). He could use some crippling or blinding strikes or neurotoxins like Mordin. Kaetus would be a furious opponent, but he seems to have more tactical frame of mind than Sloane, so he wouldn’t be as easy to dupe. Shotgun for Keema as tehprincessj suggested sounds about right. Oh and as we know, Reyes runs up against any and everyone with his bare fists, so who even knows. Maybe they'd adjust his combat script to suit his personality more. I may as be getting too lazy to quote it all, so good find with the pic... The devil’s a slightly less attractive than Reyes, though (unless he’s hidden behind the mask and all of it suggests something) The pic’s just from the liqueur’s homepage among with the quotes. Reyes going as the devil to a costume party would be a sight. Ryder could go as an angel. Random thing about Reyes’ possible snack of choice (or maybe supplying Kian with bar snacks is part of his and Reyes' deal ):

I've only played on gold once, whereas in ME3 I regularly played on platinum, and could solo gold (with the turian ghost on firebase white against the geth). I'm not sure if it's the level designs incorporating the jump jets messing with spawn points or if it's the character kits (I miss being quarians and drell, damnit), but it just hasn't grabbed me the way it did in ME3. If I didn't already know you're on PC, I'd totally come play with you, though. Shame be damned.

That’d be a new one. They’d need to do something about his hair in general, it looks strange... and so very medieval to boot. Hmm, you’re probably right but perhaps if there happened to be three or like options (yeah, yeah, very improbable but whatever) he could fit in somehow... or he could at least be available for conversation. Might be interesting to hear what mr. Sniper guy would have to say about the situation no doubt, even if we were denied some sniper art in the end. Biotic salarian seems interesting, there might be some in the Collective. Or perhaps some super electrically charged Angara, if they use that capability for combat bigger style. That could happen in our theorized Kaetus vs Reyes scenario. Oh and as we know, Reyes runs up against any and everyone with his bare fists, so who even knows. Maybe they'd adjust his combat script to suit his personality more. That might be intriguing, actually. I  hope the only interrupt the game would bother us with would be to bring some popcorn and watch Kaetus would probably use any means to fight him as well, he’d have the focus and the experience with what happens when you let Reyes run unchecked... and as you said no mind to be fooled... One on one, with no one to shield him ( I take that for granted as Kaetus doesn’t seem like a fool, that would most likely be the first thing he’d see to) we might for once get to see what the Charlatan’s really made of (huh, perhaps literally, even) Hmm, perhaps the bare fists thing is Reyes’ surprise attack? No one ever expects that, that’s why it works? But really, I wonder if his actual combat style would be more combat or tech based... This plus the rest of the post, this thing really screws with me big time [/quote] Yep, that would work. I can somehow imagine Reyes complaining the only devil mask in Andromeda is so unflattering.... (for a while I tried hard to imagine what other mask Reyes might wear... no ideas, just a vague thought it might be funny to see him with plush wolf ears) Perhaps it’s both? He’s in Tartarus most of the time, he wouldn’t get any snacks he dislikes for it... As for MP, MEA is the only one I tried several times out of curiosity, mostly when waiting for a patch to drop... I enjoyed my krogan engineer, though I wouldn’t go beyond silver for fear of ruining the game. I’m afraid I’m terrible at all things MP.

Just finished with the architect on Elaaden, but my kids are gone for the week, so I may blow through the rest at a quicker pace than I've been holding to so far. I played ME3 MP for a while as well, mostly silver, some gold. I had a bronze game now and we won, yay. It was actually easy. I didn't die at least, killed stuff and wasn't kicked out when we were back in the lobby. In my former matches I tried the timed missions that are only there for a couple days, guess that was a bit too much for the beginning. Oh of course and she shouts viva la revolución in Angaran as battlecry. I can see it now. The Sniper Guy would be awesome. Reyes doesn’t trust easily and I want to meet someone who’s up to those high standards. They’d need to fix his hair line situation, though I'm not sure another human guy that doesn’t even have any showy gimmick going on would cut it. That’d be a new one. Oops, sure, he goes to the barber before. This cannot stand. If it is Crux maybe she climbed the ranks. Or Reyes pretends to be a secret Charlatan agent around her. What, lol I missed this. Found it now. Ykaari is the angara recruit, no wonder she doesn't know about peanuts. Yeah, snacks for the bar, this could be it, hehe. Or it's one of his dark secrets, he is addicted to peanuts. More seriously, maybe like Vetra's chocolate and cornflakes, goods for negotiations.

I didn't suggest Keema since I still think that if they go with the threat being a domestic one, Keema is the best choice since she is a common point regardless of whom you side with.
As for Kaetus vs Reyes, I agree that Kaetus would abandon any semblance of honor in his pursuit of Reyes if Sloane was killed and instead use every trick in the book, clean and dirty, to avenge her.
Regarding Crux and Reyes being the Charlatan, I can see them doing one of three things: 1. He pretends to just be an agent of the Charlatan like her. That could lead to some interesting and funny banter. 2. She knows he is the Charlatan, either before the main game or after High Noon. For example maybe she piloted the ship that helps him escape if you side with Sloane or was at the base when that ship arrives. 3. He is revealed as the Charlatan during some point of the story.

Instead of Crux, it would be really cool if it was the other person (Salarian?) that piloted his escape shuttle.
I think it would be also kind of cool if for the first portion of this DLC, you were being tailed by someone (in my dreams they would be a Salarian because we need more of them) and during the "showdown" with the tailer its revealed that:
If you sided with Sloane:
They are a mini boss of sorts that maybe during the confrontation adds to the Collective mythos
If you sided with Reyes: They are Reyes right hand person or, at the very least, someone in his circle that's been there since the beginning. This would lead to some interesting dialogue options like...
Drax: how are you feeling with **insert name here** tagging along with us? Ryder: I dunno, I constantly feel like I'm trying to prove myself. Like they're just never impressed, constantly aloof... Reyes sure does pick 'em. Drax: hehe it's like the first time I met my in-laws. Only less bloody.... * looks around at the dead bodies littering the floor* Actually, I take that back, maybe it's the same.

IMO we’ve seen enough of the secret Charlatan stuff, with Umi, with Ryder him/herself. After High Noon, there’s nothing new about seeing Reyes duping another hapless person and his identity being revealed to them. It could happen if the second temp-squaddie wasn’t picked by Reyes, but just happened be there when shit goes down. While this might lead to couple of funny lines, it would mean that this sham would be a big chunk of our association with them and that would thin the joke considerably - and as long as the pretense lasted, Ryder would be barred from open conversation with Reyes whenever this person was present. I’d definitely prefer an old insider who'd provide us with new information and glimpses into the Collective's high tier operations. This would be the path for players who chose Reyes and therefore can be assumed to have no objection to learning more about him, his organization and his past. I want to see new things done with Reyes. Yes. Notice that I said I go for bronze and silver missions? I've only played on gold once, whereas in ME3 I regularly played on platinum, and could solo gold (with the turian ghost on firebase white against the geth). I'm not sure if it's the level designs incorporating the jump jets messing with spawn points or if it's the character kits (I miss being quarians and drell, damnit), but it just hasn't grabbed me the way it did in ME3. If I didn't already know you're on PC, I'd totally come play with you, though. Shame be damned. The ME3 classes were so good. My favorite’s the Turian sentinel, who’s slow and can’t dodge, but who does good damage and is durable enough to take a banshee projectile hit without flinching. No such feel for MEA options. Pity we can’t play together, it would’ve been fun. One on one, with no one to shield him ( I take that for granted as Kaetus doesn’t seem like a fool, that would most likely be the first thing he’d see to) we might for once get to see what the Charlatan’s really made of (huh, perhaps literally, even) It’s just the short curly hair, I think it’s fine. The old man face just doesn’t go seamlessly with the hair (it’s probably designed to go with Alec’s slicked back hair). Imagine him and Reyes’ shuttle personnel having a smoke with Ryder’s squaddies outside the cave, waiting while Reyes and Ryder have their confrontation and making up session. Maybe Ryder could have a word with him about him revealing Ryder's presence at the cave to Kaetus, since that can endanger Ryder if Kaetus ever gets loose. Well, not that that's very likely; Mr Sniper Guy probably predicted a very short life expectancy for Kaetus. Regardless, it seems he at least is glad about the Pathfinder being on their side. I would die if I was forced to just watch while Reyes was in danger. I already started to panic when Reyes suggested the duel, thinking he was sincere (fortunately he’s insincere and deceitful ). Anyway, we already know what Reyes really is made of. Direct fight would just mean having to see how he fares in a situation that’s not his main forte. It would be interesting, yes, but I don’t view it as a big personality revelation if a sniping infiltrator is forced to melee a charging Krogan, for example. It’s just being disadvantaged. Reyes could maybe pilot a mech (a special modded Hydra?). Still putting some distance to direct combat, while being directly in combat. Also he's a pilot, so that might be familiar grounds for him. Or maybe a gunship? The sort of mini-bosses our ME player characters have fought against previously, only this time it would someone friendly controlling them - it would be an interesting turn, and also fitting for a shady gangster ally. Kaetus could come at him with an Outcast squad (either his hunting party sent by Sloane, or the remnant Outcasts stragglers if Sloane's dead). 2. She knows he is the Charlatan, either before the main game or after High Noon. For example maybe she piloted the ship that helps him escape if you side with Sloane or was at the base when that ship arrives. That would have to be after the game, since you can go to the Collective HQ after High Noon and she still doesn’t know the Charlatan personally. I agree that Keema would make a better enemy than a squaddie, but I don’t think she’s grand enough for a BioWare boss. She’d have to be a traitor working for some Big Bad, tying the plot into some bigger threat. I bet there’s something in that black hole in the middle of the cluster. A big, sleeping cthulhu-thing, and maybe a means for fast travel between clusters? Something like that. Why would Ryder feel the need to prove themselves to some rando thug? Anyway, I think they’d go with the Omega model, without Ryder getting input from our own squad, sadly enough. One of the reasons I’d prefer the model we’ve discussed before, where Reyes (or Kaetus) would become a temp squadmate/information broker and board the Tempest for the DLC’s duration.

Ah I never played Omega, so I didn't really know how that played out. I have quite a bit of the DLC: From Ashes, Leviathan, Citadel, but I'm missing some of the great ones like Lair of the Shadow Broker. @bioware where is the complete ME saga with all games and DLC?? LOL orchidI kinda feel like it'll be a goody two shoes scenario where Ryder is thrown into the thick of it with the Collective and sees the stuff that Ryes probably does not want them to see. I feel like a lot of people in Reyes's circle would be very cautious of Ryder betraying him out of anger/obligation/ etc. Ryder has to prove themselves loyal to the Collective's cause, no matter how shady or violent that cause turns out to be. In my dream DLC scenario, this squadmate would be older, seasoned, and a total badass, so by the end of the DLC, you feel accomplished if they at least half smile at you.

Oh of course and she shouts viva la revolución in Angaran as battlecry. I can see it now. Oh hell, I can imagine a Keema t-shirt plague taking over Heleus. It's not pretty, not pretty at all. It’s just the short curly hair, I think it’s fine. The old man face just doesn’t go seamlessly with the hair (it’s probably designed to go with Alec’s slicked back hair). Well, not that that's very likely; Mr Sniper Guy probably predicted a very short life expectancy for Kaetus. Regardless, it seems he at least is glad about the Pathfinder being on their side. I don't know, he was probably never even meant to be that closely studied, but he still somehow reminds me of this Well, I’m definitely imagining them, what else are they to do in that awkward situation They might even exchange some gossip about their bosses to pass the time and lessen the discomfort... But if you think about it, the Kaetus revelation thing is quite unprofessional from Mr Sniper guy in any case. Reyes surely must have other reasons to trust him than discretion.. I would die if I was forced to just watch while Reyes was in danger. I already started to panic when Reyes suggested the duel, thinking he was sincere (fortunately he’s insincere and deceitful ). Kaetus could come at him with an Outcast squad (either his hunting party sent by Sloane, or the remnant Outcasts stragglers if Sloane's dead). Also, eating popcorn while the two sides fight gets you no allies and all that.. but you could always stop eating that popcorn and come give a hand if the situation gets too dire But one of these days I’d love to see that option, if only as that get-sloshed-on-Sloane’s-party joke scene. It wouldn’t be character making for sure, however, it would answer a question about the character.. faced with severe disadvantage like that, will he prove to have enough skill to get through or get smashed to tiny pieces? The Charlatan business is dangerous, there are many types of situations you need to survive and as Zia proves, one sometimes gets called out and what then? (and also another, more practical one... is Reyes actually any good in combat at all?) The gunship would be amazing, though. I can totally see him waltzing with it to the final bossfight or something like that. But I’m not really sure how would a gunship fare with those level-up screens and the companion management in general... which again leads me to think Reyes makes much better NPC than actual squadmate, being close during the entire mission but not really in the field, save for some very notable special moments like that. (Nyreen isn’t a squadmate for the entirety of Omega either) 2. Oh, that might be good... I guess it would have to be some Jardaan or opposition cthulhu thing, unless it’s the cthulhu thing they all fought against because these narratives always get bigger and bigger. And Keema looks so untrustworthy you could even blame her of being the cthulhu thing taking a holiday in disguise... Btw, as an afterthought, while I agree the Charlatan business needs to move on, it might be fun if hopelessly clueless Evfra were finally confronted with Reyes’ secret identity somewhere along the way. Some more material for fuming Evfra archives never hurts... starlord Omega’s fun. A little Cerberus murdering holiday in great company. Also has that heart warming scene where you find the couch...

For some reason they don't like to give us complete ME games . Gotta buy all the DLC separately. The gunship idea is good. They still need to actually show us his piloting skills, not just talk over comms about him clearing the sky. He can just become an NPC at that point to avoid issues controlling him. Or something like the chasing scene in LotSB. Just that he is flying the shuttle and Ryder is, I don't know, doing something else. They could also leave the third squadmate out. It could just be the two of them. Kasumi's mission had fighting too and it was just her and Shep. If you are with Sloane it's either her or Kaetus. Maybe rather Kaetus since she says he will lead the hunt personally. Btw, as an afterthought, while I agree the Charlatan business needs to move on, it might be fun if hopelessly clueless Evfra were finally confronted with Reyes’ secret identity somewhere along the way. Some more material for fuming Evfra archives never hurts... Reyes states Evfra wouldn't care about that, only results matter. So he might just shrug at it.
