What do you expect from the multiplayer? [General discussion version]

Actually that's one thing I hope they don't have. Can't stand people having more of a chance to live, simply because they have a better video card.

Of course, this isn't as much of an issue nowadays. But still, it's the principle of the thing.

I'm fine with a fixed FoV for everyone, as long as it's wider as it's now. ME3MP has tunnel vision while your character is so close that he blocks a third of the screen.

I expect it to be something I sink a lot of my life into. I always loved learning the mechanics of games and finding ways to improve my gameplay. I hope we have a nice variance of map sizes and layouts and a high amount of character options like we had in 3. Most of all I expect a great community mixed in with some crazies.

I do want to play MP this time around, but I don't want it tied to the SP campaign progression -- even to the extent that it was with ME3.

I wouldn't mind if XP, or some type of resources, could be earned in MP and carried into SP. That would merely be an incentive and perk, though, not a plot-influencing connection, as we saw with ME3's unfortunate setup.

Not what I expect, but rather what I would like:

-Actual Heavy Weapons instead of a generic rocket launcher.
-Heavy Weapons priming for Tech Combos (i.e. Atlas survives the Arc Projector, throw a Power at it for a Tech Burst)
-Tech Bursts to go BZZT BZZT BZZT like Arc Grenades
-Cryo Grenades that weaken armor, slow movement, and prime for Cryo Explosion, for 8-10 seconds
-Salarian Soldier with Marksman, Energy Drain, and Cryo Grenades
-Salarian Sentinel with Tech Armor, Incinerate, and Throw
-It better have Quarians too, we are the chocolate and peanut butter of tech superiority and anyone who voted them out of Andromeda can masticate my cloaca

I think I heard somewhere that we'll be able to play as other races again. So hopefully that's true. But overall I expect it to be a polished version of ME3's MP. Which is fine with me...

Ehhh, my plan is to play through about half of the game, maybe more, before I even tear into the MP aspect. This is given that the game is about 40-50 hours. If it's 100+ hours, then I'll prolly play about 30 hours of it, then rip into the MP.
