I viewed it as simply the equivalent of displaying a multiplayer banner back at your home base, They were MP rewards displayed in Skyhold. I would expect further opportunities to see multiplayer success evidenced in the game-world in MEA. Except it was far, far more than simply a banner. And if I could somehow get this simply by sending some no-name grunts out to kill a dragon, why couldn't the Inquisitor get something similar for personally killing ten? I hope that MEA comes up with something that works for us both - Fernando Melo has already teased more information in January. |

My gut tells me that MP won't be available from the start. Actually, MP maps are usually from the SP game. Thus, until we have a mission on a planet, MP will be locked out.
I think that's unlikely. There were quite a lot of MP-exclusive players in the end for ME3 and doing that would shut them out. |

I think that's unlikely. There were quite a lot of MP-exclusive players in the end for ME3 and doing that would shut them out. I've tweeted Fernando to ask, hopefully it will be addressed once multiplayer is discussed in more detail. |

Immediate access to MP will show SP maps that Ryder has not yet seen. This makes no sense (imo). Besides, I'm sure some of the MP maps will require the Jet Packs, an item Ryder does not have at the beginning of the SP game.
What does make sense is that access to the MP game gets unlocked the moment MP map(s) are discovered in the Single Player campaign. Immediate, unlimited access to the MP will spoil the surprise of finding new weapons in the SP campaign. Why it would show us which weapon(s) are best.
What's you're view?
It's not important for MP (in general). Pure gameplay is what interests most in MP and that encompasses maps to a great extent. A little spoiler disclaimer would be enough after the first click on MP for these issues. So anyone who wants to conserve a pure SP can just go back and play that first. I bet that many still would want to play the SP first for story and background - but not everybody - the ME3 MP was quite popular. |
