It (was connected to) knew your father? Alec confirmed dead/missing then? Alec is supposed to be human Pathfinder. There can be only one Pathfinder per Ark. PC is Pathfinder. So maybe? Or it just has access to your omnitool. |

Y'know, now we know that Alec Ryder was the N7 Guy from the E3 trailer from last year... it really does make "Ghost Riders in the Sky" seem like like a deliberate choice on his part.
Can't decide whether it's his extremely badass way to psyche himself up before battle, a cheesy attempt to embarrass his kids by trying to have his own "theme music", or simply a reflection on his awesome musical tastes?

I said a couple pages ago Alec Ryder reminds me of the character models in Space Engineers (especially wearing that space suit), but he does slightly resemble Captain Shack of the XPGamers, now I come to think of it?  |

Really, REALLY hope Alec doesn't have to die for the player to become the Pathfinder. I would also love for Ryder and Alec to have some bonding moments (think Cousland and clan back in Dragon Age:Origins), so that at least his death/capture/disappearance have some impact on the player (in Fallout 4 I couldn't care less about Nora/Nate and Shaun as they die/disappear before I can even get to know them). It would also make reconnecting with dear old Dad an actual priority (when your loving father Liam Neeson disappears in Fallout 3, I actually cared enough about him enough, that I actually WANTED to find him, unlike Fallout 4's Shaun). |
