First off this is either amazing or terrible depending on how you see it. If you care for gameplay it's amazing. However, it is seriously lore breaking. From what I saw, you can literally change classes on the fly. What happened to classes? A little variability is ok, but this is ridiculous. If there is one thing this game has told me, it is that Bioware could care less about their lore. Rule of Cool is all that matters. Cypher is right: There has never been any lore on classes outlined in the games to this point. The 'it breaks the lore' is the new catch all excuse to justify why people don't like something. Which is fine if you don't like someone but to say the new profile system breaks the lore is stretching things just a tad.

I like the radio headphones, and the way that we can talk to others that may be back on the ship, etc.
I would like to see how we move with our squadmates around. I mean, in DAI- the FB engine rather- there was this long buffer distance between you and your companions.
They were always scrambling to get into this perfect three point stance, at a specific distance. I found it annoying. You get too close and they runaway from you. Or they scramble around in the background trying to get that stance, but kept running into other npc's, or you...and they would just run around like friggin morons. I hope that is not an issue in MEA.
I also hope we're not just walking around by ourselves most of the time.

Thoughts:
The ship looks cool, seems like it would be smaller then the Normandy just from how it looks when it lands. It says that Peebee is level 27, makes me wonder what the max level is? Maybe 60 like in ME1 and ME3? Also really like how Peebee looks, still I think would like it better without the line of eye black but love the jacket. Love the environments, at 0:40 is that a solar eclipse in the sky? It seems that you can change on the fly your character type from the profiles menu whenever you want. I did not know about this. I like how there seem to be a lot of abilities and how you can change your loadout when you want. Wonder how the profile changing effects this?

I'm justifying it to myself that they would want the Pathfinders to be trained in/skilled in everything, to better deal with whatever the new galaxy tosses at them. I'm way more confused about the 3 ability at-a-time limit. I'm guessing the limit is there because of either controller limitations and lack of pause wheel/aim or as balance mechanic to stop you from making ridiculous builds now that we have separate cooldowns for everything (and everything being available to you) *mumble*stupid controllers*mumble* PC Gamers should have all the things!!! There are many buttons to choose from. Plus the mouse. The mouse has buttons, it wants to join the fun also. On a serious note, I'd understand if it was there because of the way they're handling skills. If they didn't I'd be one of the idiots running around with every ability on my UI. EDIT: Also wanted to say that Peebee looks great now, compared to when she was first introduced.

They did say that the Nexus would not be done until we came in and helped build it..finish it. And PeeBee was level 27 in this. So, that built up Nexus image is probably from a bit later.

I understand the confusion. I probably could have made that clearer. I just quoted them because they mentioned breaking the lore. They did have that standard. They did it in ME1. That was in late 2007, just less than a decade ago. Even in ME2 and ME3 they recognize that lore occasionally, but for most of the characters they just don't care anymore and instead care more about characters looking cool or sexy as they show off chests and midriffs and use only a breather mask(which isn't even hooked up to anything to breathe). Yeah, shame on me for actually expecting better out of Bioware. I'm not saying that, although being cautious is better in my opinion. I just don't get why you say that this game is what made you realize that when it happened before. I've tried being cautious, but they manage to make it seem like they may have gone back to that so I get my hopes up. In this case, showing Alec, Scott/Sarah, Cora, and Liam all in fully sealed suits made me think that this may apply to all characters but nope here is PeeBee showing the truth.

It's up here, for those who couldn't see it: Feel bad for the people that stayed up half the night waiting for that. Hell it's only 9:44 pm here and that felt like a bit of a waste of time for me.

You know: Random thought here wonder why they are showing off the Ryders with their masks so much is they do not want to crush people from having their own characters. But since Peebee is not our character she does not have that problem, and so the environment may not be that toxic. Or it could be...just spitballing here.

No, no, I mean that first voice we hear, the very first voice. That one is Salarian, and noticeably different than SAM's, who speaks after Scott does. The Salarian speaks before Scott does. [ PUSHES NERD GLASSES UP NOSE] Trust me, I am obsessed with Salarians. EDIT: Saw your later post.
