They've shown both Scott and Sarah without their helmets on, so that's not the reason they are wearing helmets. 

They never so Peebee when on the planet so this may not be the case and that might just be her default look in the menu screen with her actually wearing something protective on the ground in certain places, though I doubt it. 

No, we see her on the planet and yet she is in the outfit you see in the menu with the addition of a breather.

Her hair tentacles probably got leveled up to help her breathe in space......something something science! 

I don't think it was in the trailer shown there...other images are from it, but that one is not in it despite looking like it was taken in the same location/mission

Well, in terms of information, it wasn't really the sexiest look nor what I was immediately looking for. Even the combat wasn't really well played.

That said, I did appreciate the look at the profiles and the more I see it, the more I can dig the profiles system if only out of convenience. They've established that the Pathfinder is supposed to be well versed in combat, biotics, and technology, so at least they explain away this potentially lore-breaking deal, and it looks like the profiles is a quick way to figure out what powers to use. I don't see myself changing it on the fly if only for the lore and the challenge (unless something is REALLY beating my ass), but in thinking ahead to what I'm going to do, I could picture it as being no different from choosing what guns to bring or armor to wear.

Also, one thing that hasn't been mentioned yet--I'm pretty sure this confirms that Peebee will be the Sentinel of the squadmates. She has the biotic powers of Pull and Shockwave (which is odd, because I typically remember this as a Vanguard move, but she could be more aggressive as a character in general), but she also has as her first power something called "Invasion," which is described at 1:02 as "infect opponents with an invasive VI-controlled machine swarm that weakens defences and spreads itself to nearby enemies."

The multiplayer is gonna be so good. It'll be ME3 on steroids, can't wait to play it.

I wouldn't be surprised if 3 power limit was a way to limit player power (imagine what ridiculous and/or idiotic builds you could do with no power limit)

Oh I don't deny that ridiculous cross class builds are fun (dual-sword wielding arcane warrior/battlemage with mix of primal and dual-wield skills from DAO says hello), I'm just guessing what the thought process of developers might have been
