So people over 50 can't be fit?
Does no-one remember the viral picture in June of J.K. Simmons (61) being totally jacked at the gym?

The thread may be fake but nevertheless I think different body models to choose from would be nice. Let' say: a slimmer, a more muscular and a fuller body figure. We had different body models in DAI with the 4 races. Since Mass Effect only allows us to play as human, I think Sara and Scott should at least have different body models, maybe three for each gender.

Since they seem to have modeled a penis in the game (They did with Iron Bull too) I think having different bodies will have quite a lot of bugs, like the skinny male elf arms that they never fixed, or the problems with the camera because of the body of Qunari and Dwarf. The point of the post is that they seem to have taken porn actors from Brazzers to do the males, but they grabbed the ugliest girls in the world to take to andromeda. I mean, we will have to repopulate in Andromeda, they should have taken only pretty people so the children will be pretty. Taking hot guys but ugly girls is sexist for us men.

In terms of breeding, which is the "ugly" one? Sara? I think, her face is at least average/good. In terms of breeding so much quality important, the "beauty" is just one of these. Physique, strength, intelligence. If there is enough "material", they are mixing well. Otherwise, the end result is never guaranteed. Sex appeal important for the survival of the species, yes, but this don't depend only on some "beauty" concept. This latter always change. I think, can not you give an example of the uglyness in terms of breeding in the Bioware game (ofc, from romanceable human characters, if we speak from the survival of the human race).

Fifty is not that old in the ME universe. Don't humans live to be around 150 or so? Besides, as so many others have said, to be N7 and/or pursue a Pathfinder career, you'd better be fit and athletic.
I'd think by the 22nd century, since most things like common colds and asthma have been mostly eradicated (from an ME3 DLC) that so would couch potatoism and most people would have a fair degree of fitness and good health.
Besides, it's easier to make one body type with minimal variations.

For breeding? This one is most likely underwent on plastic surgery. In terms of breeding, the the end result is absolutely uncertain... You spoke about the breeding, you need to be consistent. (This two latter looks healthy, breeding suitable.)

I think in the interests of pleasing everyone, Ryders should be a Hanar family to start with. That would be rad.

Is easier being lazy, after all that's what technology is for right? we have to buy the food in a shop instead of going to hunt it ourselves. This is what real future would be like, not the crappy future of Mass Effect where all men are hot but women are ugly. For the same purpose Liam is a hunk but Peebee, the asari, the ones that are supposed to be beautiful and because of that most of them work as stripper, look like this: Is simple, if men are going to be hot, women should be too, we are not objects to satisfy women.

Please provide any evidence that Liam is hot. The icon you showed earlier didn't look hot at all. In fact, it could just as easily be the icon for a large arthropod species. Until you can provide evidence that Liam is hot, your entire argument is flawed.
We have seen several attractive men and several unattractive men. We have seen several attractive women and several unattractive women. Seems right.
Also, lol at the poll results. Even the troll's attempts to skew the wording didn't stop people from counter-trolling. Cue the "it's all women who are hypocrites" QQing.

My brother (who is straight) did just that in DA: I. He didn't find either Cassandra OR Josephine to be his "type", so he went with Dorian. He figured that if he wasn't going to be "attracted" to the LI, he might as well pick the character that he liked best. And he maintains that Dorian is now his favorite LI in any Bioware game. And, surprisingly, he hasn't left his wife and moved to WeHo yet.....

Good on your brother with the Dorian 'mance - he's a great character. If I play much more DAI, I'll prolly roll a male Inky for Dorian.

I would, the problem is that the only gay romances in Bioware were: - A guy that cried for his husband and then jumped in your bed - Kaidan wasn't that bad, if he wasn't such a bland character, but his switch from "straight to bisexual" was not believable - Iron Bull was just sex, at the end he prefers to be a mercenary than be with you - Dorian... oh I love magical cristal skype, please, leave me to be a magister in your country - Anders... he just blow the opportunity with me. - I don't find Fenris very interesting, and the "wait 3 years for me" is not something I like - Zevran... the guy who just tried to kill you? in your bed? They don't handle gay LI's very well IN MY OPINION, specially since they give more romances to female character than males. First of all, he has those eyes that makes my soul melt Second he is buff as hell And the icon shows A LOT MORE than what you see, look at it Still nothing? Enhance! Nothing? put your glasses on then

Not true - but if you think the romances provided for female characters are somehow better, then I'd suggest you roll a female character.

Mass Effect has either been equal or have given more to male characters than female characters, but Dragon Age has either been equal or have given more to female characters than male characters.

Yeah, well - DAI had a little extra time and bandwidth, so they tossed in a couple of extra male LIs at female Inkys. This, however, is an ME thread, and ME has provided more LI options to male Shepard. How/why the devs made those decisions, and determined the sexuality of each character is something only they know. Of course, it's also true that quantity =/= quality, but that's not an argument I'm interested in having.

True. But if you factor in SWTOR ( also a current IP), this skews very heavily towards romances for male characters. And if you also include the past IPs (BG, JE, & KOTOR), you see that BG and JE both had more options for males and KOTOR had more options for females. It's still pretty even overall, though. My count has 40 romance options for male characters (including straight female, bisexual female, bisexual male, & gay male characters) and 37 options for female characters

Of course, it's also true that quantity =/= quality, but that's not an argument I'm interested in having. Depends on how you count them. If you only count those who actually grant the paramour achievement, then it's 8 romances for male characters (Ashley, Liara, Miranda, Jack, Tali, Kelly, Kaidan, & Steve) versus 7 for female characters (Kaidan, Liara, Garrus, Thane, Jacob, Kelly, & Samantha). It's not as skewed if you look at the total numbers. If you start looking at other factors, it changes. For example, if you look at the minimum number of romances in ME3, then you get 2 for both of males and females (Liara & Steve for males and Liara & Samantha for females).
